I use magnesium taurate from ethical-nutrition.com, taking 2 capsules with my evening meal. I have found it makes a difference to the actually quality of my sleep, although I still wake and often have sleepless nights. Better sleep = less stress = less AF (for me) Episodes of nighttime restless legs are reduced. I was getting weekly episodes of AF and I found this appeared to have an effect, with frequency and duration reduced (can’t recall how much, but enough to be noticeable for me). I personally find lifestyle changes are very helpful in managing the condition (as per another of your posts) My meds were changed a few weeks ago, flecainide added, and this has made a difference too. I find it is a combination of everything. I have an ablation planned for next year.

I like this brand of magnesium taurate as it doesn’t have unnecessary additives.

Yep same for me. Same brand, but alternate 2 per day followed by 1per day . Always take 1 half hour before bed as that helps sleep as well.Seems to work for me.

I tried reducing to one a day, but lost the benefit. I also tried emptying the capsules as my gut doesn’t really like what the powder is in, but were so hard to pull apart I was spraying powder everywhere 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Try the taurate or any other organic salt such as citrate as they are just a little better absorbed.. Some say it helps but there’s no studies to show it does - just hearsay and anecdote. It’s safe though so nothing ventured nothing gained!
