Debilitating fatigue
It’s an effort to even get dressed, I can feel it gradually morphing into
low
mood
. I look at people doing every day things in amazement. Have recently had a great deal of personal stress , that isn’t going away . Going for walks etc , and I pay for it big time.

Low carb meal ideas
Hi. I’m new to the site and looking to try a low carb plan for a few weeks to see if I can take to it. I like quick and easy meals that don’t cost the earth. Has anyone got any meal recommendations please?

Asthma misdiagnosis. Could it be heart issues? Any advice would be great 😊☺️
Hi everyone! I am twenty years of age. For as long as I can remember, I have always hated exercising. This is because I have always struggled to breathe properly, when exercising. As a young child, I quickly grew to despise going on family walks, because of this. It was suspected I could have asthma

Uncertain
I am suffering quite badly at the moment with
low
mood
and intermittent feelings of despair and loneliness. I have worked in mental health for 6 years and it has taken its toll on me and I feel I now need to take action. I am eagerly seeking new jobs working in physical health.

Update on dosage/diet having seen Rheumatologist
Hi everyone, saw my rheumy again last night and told him I had increased back up to 12.5mg because of the pain when I dropped to 10mg. He agreed that it was the right thing to do but was very careful to point out that it takes 7-10 days for your body to adjust to the new dose and not to jump too quickly

Slowly but surely.
Was just getting used to impared breathing due to the hot weather. When my on the phone review came up. So now, just finished four days steroids. 6 tablets every morning. Didn't have any real effect for two days and then felt a lot better but now struggling again. I suppose it's all those chores I had

What is your take on Soybean? 🧐🤔
Edamame has always been my favorite snack since I was little. I usually steam and sprinkle a little bit of sea salt. You may find edamame prepared the same way as appetizer when you go to a sushi restaurant. I found many health benefits from edamame but one thing I’m concerned is phytoestrogen or isoflavones

CEV Criteria
Hello I know shielding is not really a thing at the moment but I was wondering if anyone knows what the criteria is to be considered CEV (Clinically Extremely Vulnerable) because of asthma? Protein
Protein. A lot is made of the need for high protein and yet: " a high protein diet is bad for you. Growth hormone pathways, including TOR and IGF-1, are controlled by proteins and they are accelerators of the aging process. So, if you have a low-protein diet you might live longer and healthier." https

Protein Considerations
A couple of weeks ago I posted that I'd been knocked back for a blood donation. That got my attention. I also mentioned that I hadn't been eating too much meat of late. Thinking back I realised I'd got into a bad habit of just grabbing a piece of cheese, a few nuts and cups of coffee with double cream

How many carbs a day are considered low carb?
