I had panic disorder for several years. two years ago I felt stomachache with diarrhea and after a while, morning fatigue with body ache and low mood started. my ache would get better at midnight suddenly after a severe stomachache. after one month with this chronic symptom, I visited a psychiatrist I was diagnosed with Panic Disorder, IBS, and Fibromyalgia. He prescribed me Lamotrigine( as Dr said this is your main tablet). Zoloft, perphenazine, trihexyphenidyl. I took these for 10 months. but after 1 year the fatigues and ache(milder than before) relapsed. and my mood is changing 2 or 3 times during the day. I remember that when I took medicine my fatigue recured in a cyclic way and I have something like Mania during taking my medicine( talkative, impulsive, and irritable).
3 months ago I visited my doctor through what's up he prescribed me lamotrigine and Zoloft. but these days I am wondering that maybe I have bipolar and therefore misdiagnosed. because my mood is changing during a day or during a month. what do you think?

Welcome Reza! I am very sorry to hear how you have been struggling with new and worsening symptoms. Have you booked an in person appointment with your psychiatrist or family physician to discuss your concerns? As far as I am aware nobody on the forum is qualified to determine a diagnosis online. Moreover, even if someone here is a trained MD or mental health professional, they should not be providing medical advice to people they haven’t met for legal & ethical reasons. Your best person to contact for advice is your own doctor since they’ll know you best. Best of luck with your recovery ❤️
My MD is in Iran. I have booked a What's up appointment for 45 days later. I just want to know the mood swing or mood changes in fibromyalgia. mood change during a day.
Hi Reza we are not qualified to say what could be wrong and it's best to always speak to your own medical doctors. Good luck hope you get the right treatment for your symptoms
Hello Reza, welcome to the group. I am so sorry for your suffering. But has LisaSnow said no one here is qualified medically to give you the answer to your question. I am sorry.
Just wanted to send you my best wishes Reza. I hope you get the answers you need from your doctor. 45 days is a very long time to wait, though. I would suggest contacting your MD again and explaining that both your mental and physical health are suffering and you need urgent support.
I had rapid mood cycling when I was younger but it was considered to be part of what was supposedly BPD, the bipolar people had even more mood cycling than me so as far as I know it's not a yes no thing really anyway.
Hi Reza. I hope you get to see somebody soon. I agree with LoneEra that you should speak to your doctors again and explain that it's urgent. I wish you all the best and hope you get some answers and some more support.
Sorry to read of your struggle and the wait for your appointment but agree if you can keep in touch with your local doctor until then at least your being supported by a medical professional, have you any family or close friend you can spend some time with ? Sometimes that extra love and support can help us through, always welcome to pop on the forum for a chat as well.
