3 Years past FCR
After a FCR ride from 10/13 -4/14, with more or less no side effects, I went in CR and MRD -! Since then, blood counts were always in normal range. I have been doing well since end of treatment, enjoying a normal life with quarterly or all six months checking in hospital After one year past treatment

Thyroid. Rising TSH. New to Community
Thirdly, I believe that thyroid function is responsible for making
LDL
receptors on the cells. Not enough thyroid hormone, not enough receptors and too much
LDL
hanging around in the blood. My Cholesterol seems high, has been 7+ now 6+ , seemed it reduced as my inflammation marker dropped.

Anyone else taking low dose naltrexone?
I've been taking ldn since 7/15 and I can't say I find my life much different. I've been ill (flu, cold/virus, sinus problems) three times since Nov so in terms of helping to 'balance' my immunity I can't see any evidence of that. I'm about to have my thyroid antibodies tested and I hope to see some

I came across a couple of sites that say that Parkinson may possibly an autoimmune disease. That a Low Dose Naltrexone has helped a lot of get off Parkinson meds. There is a lady who went on it and no longer has Parkinson symptoms and clearly had Parkinsons, video is on You Tube. Search LDN. Has anyone

LDL / HDL Ratio, Is it a big deal
However, the cranky one was
/ HDL RATIO which was 7.9. (seems like the normal is < 3.5 ). Please educate me....
LDL
is good and HDL is good, still out of whack item bothers me. Where did I go wrong ? Is that some thing I can ignore for now ?

Cholesterol-Busting Super-Soup
Most people have read and learned about some of the 'super-foods' that are high in anti-oxidants and fibre that will lower bad cholesterol as it is found in
LDL
-C and ApoB. Some of these foods include, chick peas, lentils, beans, barley, and tumeric among other things.
