Adenomyosis and possibly endo?

I’m 19 years old and i was just diagnosed with adenomyosis and will be getting laparoscopy to see if i have endo as well as my symptoms match

the problem i have is managing my adenomyosis symptoms i get such painful cramps in my abdomen, back and legs but the real problem is the bloating and trapped gas i get . the pain gets so bad it wake me up at night and i’m basically bed bound i spend most of my day sat on the toilet trying to force out a poo or a fart, i’ve started a food diary but it’s early days

does anyone have any tips on how to reduce my bloating and pain?

it might be worth looking into the FODMAP diet. it's quite hard but if you stick to it, it can really help

That's a great idea to do a food diary to see if it shows any patterns. We are all different but I found wheat and sugar made my pain and bloating worse and eating more anti-inflammatory foods really helped. Good luck.
