Crps-my GP told me to get off all pain meds
I have been to three different pain specialists and my GP seems to fight everything they say. Now after four years having CRPS and having so many pain meds my GP has told me to just come off all the meds because she thinks that because I'm in so much pain still with the meds what's the point of me taking

Flu jab
I have not posted for a while, not been feeling too good. I have been gradually reducing the preds. I am finally down to 5 mg a day, I was on 60 mg last December. The withdrawal has been a nightmare of side effects, pain, depression and work, just kept going with the aim to get of the steroids.

26 and facing knee replacement surgery, any advice from anyone who has had surgery?
I was diagnosed with RA 10 years ago and have recently been told surgery is the last option on my right knee after x-ray shows severe damage. Doctor has agreed to operate next year and I am very keen to go ahead. He has had concerns because of my age but agrees it will make a big difference to my lifestyle

hip op
hi, I've eventually had my operation on my hip. not a hip replacement. I had a large amount of hard calcification removed along with my bursa. 19 clips in total so quite a large wound. the consultant said it is quite rare in the hip. I have had 3 operations on my shoulder for calcification also. doing

Pain Control
The weather makes not one iota of difference to my arthritic pain. My joints hurt more when I walk and less when I don't , simple as that. I exercise in water for one hour six days a week and this really helps. I have other conditions too which sometimes interfere with my exercise regime; at these times

Bit too much???
I seem to have become a bit obcessed with doing 10,000 steps a day. Yesterday I got home and had just 100 steps to do to have done 10, 000 steps. I just thought no worries but it just kept niggling at me. In the end at 10:30pm I got up and walked up and down the hallway and did did and extra 1,000 steps
