Hi,
Thanks for sharing. It sounds like you may benefit from becoming an Arthritis Action member. Yes thank you I would like any assistance I can get but I am virtually housebound and can hardly walk
My husband has just been seen re his right knee, once he has recovered from that one they will look at the left one. His surgeon says he doesn't advise both done at the same time. It would be about you and your surgeon discussing it.
Hi,
All consultations with our dietitian are over the phone. We also have an online members area with useful tips, advice and healthy recipes.
I hope this helps.
Best wishes,

I have heard of people that do have both knees done at the same time, but when I asked my surgeon if it was possible he advised me against it. His reasoning was that it's easier to recover if you have one good leg for support. I had mine done with an eight week gap between them in May 2012 and July 2012. I can walk for miles now and I have recently tried short spurts of jogging.
Hope this helps
