I am lucky, I know it, I work in education which means I get the school holidays off - especially as I am not a teacher and don't have to plan for the coming term. However, this summer has not been all sunny - and I don't mean the weather! For some reason my health has gone downhill with my left

I guess I’ve come here today to vent, I have suffered years of pain and got my official stage 4 endo diagnosis just over 5 weeks ago. In the last six months I’ve deteriorated rapidly and in the last 3 in particularly I’ve been off work more days than I’ve been in. Since my lap the pain has been pretty

Really confused now
Have been told I am low on Vitamin D when I have a good diet, am out all the time and take 1000mg cod liver oil daily. Could this be due to under medicated thyroid.

Meds and liver probs.
Sorry, but this is a bit off topic. I was wondering if taking Naproxen, co-codamol or paracetamol could cause your bloods to, show a problem with your liver. Jan

Diclofenac
Hi I am having my lap tomorrow but before I forget I wanted to ask about Diclofenac. Last time I asked for a repeat prescription for Diclofenac, my GP said it is banned since Christmas as the risk of heat attack is high. I had some left from last year and it was running out. Diclofenac is one of

Dental work and AF
Has anyone had experience of AF getting worse after root fillings or being told after AF started that they need a lot of dental work? Just attended a talk 'Cure Tooth Decay' by Ramiel Nagel who has written a book with the same title. It's back to granny's diet e.g. Cod Liver Oil (not any but the Green

Daily headache
hey. Stubbled across this site which googling side affects of yet another headache tablet. If anybody can help.. I've suffered with a chronic headache nearly everyday for the past 8 months. It started as a watery twitching eye which developed into stapping pains in my eye and around my eye socket,

Frustrated, defeated and confused
Hi everyone. Today I feel defeated, crazy and very frustrated. I wanted some advice from others living with this horrible disease. I had my lap done 22/07/14, nothing was treated as stage 4 endo was diagnosed. My consultant has arranged an appointment for me on the 20/08/14 to discuss surgery to remove

Post surgery pain
Meandering thought- I'm so used to being in constant pain, as I still haven't found a painkiller that works, (common in HMS apparently). it seems That the pain in my wrist, following tendon surgery yesterday, is bearable. I took co codamol yesterday, with anti sickness meds, but it just made me feel

Help! Do I go to A&E?
I woke up this morning and went to have a wee. When I got back in bed I got this agonising pain all across the lower part of my stomach. I have taken co-codamol and amitriptyline but the pain is still there. It hurts if I cough, yawn or sneeze. It's very tender to touch and I can't lift my legs as it's
