B12d, FM, VitD or all three???
I am finding it impossible to figure out what is going on inside me. :-( I had blood test results in November 14 showing that my B12 level was at 1509 in ref range of 191 - 663. This was 2 weeks after a 3 x monthly B12 injection. At the same time my intrinsic factor was tested and found to be normal

Vitamin D3 - higher doses
Really interesting video on vitamin D3. Apparently, most of us are now deficient and we are not taking enough. Gives advice on safe higher doses. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HH1rB-Ya2UQ I'd also recommend the book, "The Miraculous Effects of High Doses of Vit D3 and K2..." By Jeff Bowles.

What biologic next I wonder?
Been going through a very bad flare again, had to increase steroids to 20mg daily (after 1 year on these), on oramporph, fentanyl pain patch 25mcg and my co-codamol. Well am off to rheumy appointment tomorrow to discuss another biologic as HUMIRA did nothing for me. Can't take methotrexate, sulphasalazine

Pain patch advice
Silly question, but how do I ask a GP for pain patch? My regular GP is off on extended leave due to ill health so I have to see someone else. Recurring low back pain
Approximately 3 years ago I hurt my back, I'm still not quite sure how. I just sat down one day and couldn't get up. I had noticed for a while before that I wasn't able to lay on my front anymore as it was making me ache, the doctor seems to think this may have been a warning sign. Anyway I ended up

Pain clinic appointment?
Hi everyone I woke this morning to find my appointment for the pain clinic had come through:). Things are happening so quickly for me, even though my doctor gave me this diagnosis I am still finding it very difficult to get her to give me a pain killer that actually works for me. I can have co-codamol

Do You Remember The Winter Of 1963?
Do you remember your school being shut because of the snow and the boilers weren't working or the desks were frozen to the floor or it was just the wrong kind of snow? I do have a clear and vivid memory of my little brother trudging over the fields in his wellies...and short trousers...all on his own

Confused and fed up
Hi everyone Apologies in advance for the long post! This is my first on here and I haven't spoken about this in a while because my problems (mostly) subsided whilst I was on the Depo Provera injection for about 2 or 3 years - so I just got on with it. Background: had 'menstrual' and pain issues

LTV ventilator for NON-INVASIVE VENTILATION!
Hello. How are you all doing? I have a question. Does anybody who see this message use the LTv ventilator from Pulmonetics for Non-Invasive ventilation? I am curious to hear what you think of it. Thank you very much, and God Bless.

So far so good
Hi--- I'm at the start of my third week of meds- 200 mg of hydrox and 15 mgs of Mtx, 5mg of f acid(once a week). After spending the first night with my head down the toilet I rang my gp who gave me anti sickness pills to take 3 times daily-- since taking those I just have permanent but slight nausea.
