Sad Times 😞
To our horror he was in

failure
. We tried fluid therapy for two days and the vet referred him to a veterinary nephrologist but when we arrived to take him there he did not even know us so there was no choice. We now have him back home where he belongs.

Silodosin, Frequent Urination and PCa
I'm going to talk to a urologist about adding Silodosin to the myriad of drugs and supplements I take. My main issue is having to get up 4-5 times a night to pee. The primary use of this drug (like flomax) is for enlarged prostrate. My prostrate is not enlarged but, from what I read, this drug is

Liver Transplant consent letter & liver types
hi, my partner has just been accepted onto the transplant list with a UKELD of 56 and blood group A (this is relevant as have been told the wait for this group is shorter). He has just had the consent form and agonised for ages over which boxes to tick in terms of what livers to accept. It seems so ungrateful

MPR flare-up or Aclasta reaction?
Went off prednisone early in July 2022. Was fine till 10 days ago. Started with pain in my legs and with 5 days spread through my whole body - same as I had when I was diagnosed with PMR in March 2020. Because of a low bone density scan the specialist physician recommended Aclasta infusion that was done

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) And Potential Help

I had a kidney transplant in 1978 and it failed in 32 days. I was put on hemo with fistula access and mesh graft access. I also was on peritoneal dialysis first and for a short time while hospitalized. In 1982 I had another kidney transplant. At the time of discharge from the hospital I was given a

Cystoscopy next week - risks of procedure?
Hi folks. After decades of UTI infections, I've been having daily urethral pain that comes & goes but no infection. D-mannose has helped in combating infections enormously, however I'm having a cystoscopy next week to investigate any sinister cause of the pain. Not so worried about the procedure (other

Allow yourself to feel emotion
Neglect from Doctors that eventually turned into
kidney

and the removal of my
kidney
. All of these things, I am able to logically breakdown and understand. Forgive, not forget, but forgive. Iris, there is no forgivness there. That is pure emotion.

A Queen's Respect
Of course I have to give respect to the true Queen. So sad to see her go. I was going to say she was like the grandmother I never saw or got a call from but she was always there dressed to the 9s and had a waving hello for everyone. Aside from that I've been tired as a pot hound after a morning bunny

A trial and some tribulations
S decided it would be safer to admit me for the Day 1 standard 1/10th dose obinutuzumab infusion so that they could monitor for TLS (Tumor Lysis Syndrome - bad

Looking for alternative to inhaled steroid
I am in late stage 3
kidney

and cannot take oral steroids. I am allergic to Albuterol so the doc prescribed Trelegy but it has caused an ongoing case of oral thrush because of my low immune system due to poor kidney function.

My IBS lasting over a couple of weeks. Worried.
Hi everyone. Just need to talk to someone who understands. Ive had IBS since my 20s and I’m 84 now. On and off over the years mostly caused by stress. This latest attack started with really bad Diarrhea and then days of no BM . Saw Dr and was given macrogol sachets which worked over the next few days
