Silodosin, Frequent Urination and PCa

I'm going to talk to a urologist about adding Silodosin to the myriad of drugs and supplements I take. My main issue is having to get up 4-5 times a night to pee. The primary use of this drug (like flomax) is for enlarged prostrate. My prostrate is not enlarged but, from what I read, this drug is also sometimes prescribed for those who have had radiation to this area. In addition, one study I came across indicates Silodosin inhibits prostate cancer cell. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/268... Just curious if others are using this medication and their experiences with it.

I found it worked much better than 2 Flomax, but everyone's different, There are probably a dozen different alpha-blockers you can try.

In addition to my PCa, I also have an enlarged prostate. This causes a weak flow and frequent toilet visits and like you I have to get up several times during the night to go. I take Tamsulosin which is extremely good (and fast acting) to deal with the flow rate issue BUT it has no noticeable effect on the frequency. Since Silodosin is another alpha-blocker, I would have thought it too would not help much with the frequency but will be interested to know your experience with it.
