Neuropsychiatric webinar.
Hi,I have seen from Cocos post that the webinar about neuropsychiatric Lupus will be available to watch on YouTube. Can anyone from LUK confirm when it will be available please? I was really sorry to have missed it as it sounds like it could benefit both me and my family. My father had a real grasp

Kidneys affected by Hydroxyurea?
Admitting diagnosis was acute
kidney
failure
. Nephrologists were not sure what was causing the change in my kidney’s health. They wondered if the Hydroxyurea could be playing a part. I have ET Jak 2 Diag 8/2022 and was started on Hydroxyurea 500 mg per day at the same time.

NSR...out of the blue!!
Last year I had 3 ablations for persistent AF, all deemed to be unsuccessful. 5 months after number 2 , I had 9 days of NSR but then went back into persistent AF with no further breakthroughs. Number 3 was arranged as a top up but after that did not result in NSR for more than a day it was decided AF

does half a mg make so much difference
about three weeks ago I started to feel the familiar aches associated with pmr. Prior to this I had dropped from 3.5 to 3. I contacted my rheumatologist department and had a blood test which showed cpr <5 cor but I had symptoms. I’ve arranged a further blood test next week and was advised to stay with

Food Additives
People who are at risk on consumption of E 339 include those with
kidney
disease, heart
failure
, colitis, intestinal tears and blockages and those allergic to it. Now I know that I'm a fuss pot when it comes to food additives, but I certainly won't risk trying this as I know I'm sensitive to them.

I would appreciate advice on making a private appointment
In particular I want a thorough review of all my medications which have just agglomerated since I was laid low with sepsis in 2018 and emerged with heart and

on top of high blood pressure, gout, underactive thyroid -- I could go on. Severe anaemia the latest.

Dialysis and transplant.
I want to tell everyone my experience, with dialysis and trying to be put transplant list. The experiences I have had at have been good and bad. The good is when I no cramps and good blood pressure. The is when the total opposite. This has happened several times. I would say be your own advocate.

er scare
yesterday I had my worst “episode” ever—after an uneventful start to my day, I suddenly felt like I was going to collapse. Couldn’t breathe, could barely talk, weak, too weak to stand. My husband took me to er where my bp was very high (of course); spent the day. Long story short: not one thing wrong

just diagnosed with CKD stage 3.
hi all I have been on this sight for my husband who had prostate cancer and robotic prostatectomy 4 years ago. Due to very slight rise in PSA they did a Pet scan which showed kidney cancer, what a shock no symptoms at all, apparently until late stages there is no symptoms. Anyway he has had Nephrectomy

Intestinal cramps
Does anyone have what feels like intestinal cramps? When this happens it feels like my whole abdomen is painful then all of a sudden eases after a bowel movement but is loose when I go. Its a very short lived pain. I do have adhesions attaching colon to uterus so not sure if this is the reason for this

Home dialysis will soon be possible for more kidney patients
About 90 percent of people with
kidney
failure
spend half their remaining lifetime hooked up to dialysis machines and traveling to and from dialysis clinics.

Good News Today
I just left my EPS office with good news. I actually thought I was having problems with my new pacemaker but the office it is true. Dr Saini kept raising my ECG print out telling me how wonderful it is and my echo was the same. For all purposes, my heart on there looks the same as anyone with a normal

liver dialysis
hello Has anyone heard of this new treatment “Liver Dialysis’ apparently cleans your liver out of toxins, improves your bloods? I’m seeing my transplant team for the first time on 9th Aug and apparently I think I’m boarderline if I need a transplant, so was wondering if this treatment would be better

angry about kidney transplant?
I received a kidney transplant about a year ago. I was donated a live one. However, I was very uncertain about transplant, and feel like I was pushed into having one due to other people’s insistence, amongst other things. As such, I am very resentful and angry. additionally, everyone treats my donor
