I just left my EPS office with good news. I actually thought I was having problems with my new pacemaker but the office it is true. Dr Saini kept raising my ECG print out telling me how wonderful it is and my echo was the same. For all purposes, my heart on there looks the same as anyone with a normal good heart. He mentioned where he presented my case to a few groups and how they all want to learn so they can do the same, and again he held up my ECG. I knew he had been invited to Dallas to teach the group of EPS up there. Evidently you know there are others looking for him to teach. He said he can see I’m not 100% but perhaps my doctor needs to look elsewhere. Lol where to begin I’m 70. Everything is breaking down but as long as it’s not my heart and pacemaker, I think I’m very happy.
For those that didn’t know, there was no pacemaker for me until recently when it was released by the FDA. I also have heart failure, so things were not looking good. Talk about a turnaround. Today they reset my pacemaker again down to 60. They started at 80 and even that was pretty low for me considering I had been in the 150s. I don’t feel any differences nothing negative. So 60 should be my resting heart rate. That’s pretty exciting. I don’t think I had that even when I had a healthy heart.
So anyone facing a possible pace and ablate, instead of facing it with fear look at it as a life-changing event for the better. Never did. I think I would have quality of life again it has been less than three months I’m not even finished healing yet and yet my doctor, other doctors and I are amazed at what’s been done.
