Flu like symptoms day after failed FET. Immune response?
We’ve just found out our latest IVF cycle was unsuccessful. I’m at a complete loss and wondered if the following had happened to anyone else? The day after my FET I felt extremely ill with extreme flu like symptoms (chills, sweating etc.) I felt so ill I was convinced it was flu or Covid. These symptoms

ivf criteria
To add a bit of background I do not ovulate without having clomid and I have adenomyosis. It was taking a long time to get pregnant so was referred to care fertility for ivf under the nhs. Whilst on our last cycle of clomid before stopping this and moving on to try ivf medication under the clinic I found

Theatre closed - another month to wait :(
Most upset today, I expected to start my first round of ivf but have been told for the third time it can’t start as this time the theatre is closed for a week from 1st - 8th July. No prior warning. Previously my period fell on two bank holidays so I missed two months then I had a mixed up with meds.

CT scan instead of gastroscopy / colonoscopy with all PA tests normal
My Active B12 was just about into the sufficient range. My H Pylorii was negative, as was anti IFAB and coeliac. Homocysteine was fine too. My neurologist’s physical exam was normal ( though the sharp stimulus was a little less sharp on the feet. ) I have been taking sublingual B12 and the tingling

Spotting early and slow slow periods
Hi, I’ve been trying to conceive for a few years now and have done a couple of unsuccessful ivf cycles. I have tons of eggs and respond very well to treatment. However, I don’t think I am “normal”. We’ve identified quite severe male factor issues and so went for ICSI and we ought to be having another

Are bone and CT scans required quarterly if PSA and testosterone are basically zero and no symptoms?
I have stage IV prostate cancer with a spot on my lung being the only known spread of my cancer. After my chemo regimen, my CT and bone scans have been clean for a year now. And my blood work is perfect at the moment. I am on Zytiga and getting a Lupron shot quarterly. My doc still wants

Adenomyosis and IVF- Advice badly needed
Hi, Im 40, I have adenomyosis and I have one failed round of IVF behind me. It unfortunately ended with a chemical pregnancy. Its been very much a rollercoaster of emotions. I got a positive test but was then told after my 2nd hcg test that it was looking like a chemical pregnancy. I do believe

only 2 fertilised, success stories please!
Hi all, looking for success stories please. I recently began my IVF journey (single woman using donor). Everything had been fine, no health issues, lots of follicles etc and then during my monitoring scans a polyp was discovered that wasn’t there before. The clinic believe this was probably caused by

Blood test results
Hi, three weeks ago I had a Fibroscan in a mobile community testing van, the result was a reading of 15.1. The nurse suggested cirrhosis of the liver and said a referral for a CT scan was appropriate. I hadn't heard anything for two weeks, as you can imagine, I was beside myself with worry, I phoned

IBS and Coeliac
I have managed my Coeliac disease since 2009 but last year had a colonoscopy which confirmed my new symptoms were IBS D!! I struggle to know what to eat and feel my quality of life has taken a dive. I have never been someone who gets down but this is seriously effecting my mental health. Two weeks ago

Muscle loss
I'm sure this is a beaten horse topic, but I am unable to perform my previous weight training insofar as weight and stamina. I'm on eligard every 3 months and nightly erleada pill. Can I incorporate creatine monohydrate without effecting my PSA or exacerbating my BPH? I'm Stage 4, Gleason 9, mets to

I’m 73 and been feeling extra tired recently, otherwise fit and well. I thought the tiredness might be caused by Keppra a drug I take for epilepsy, I’m also on statins … but anyway the GP did a blood test, the Serum Alanine transaminase was ‘out of range’ at 54 u/l. I’ve always been a drinker but stick

IVF transfer protolols (adenomyosis / endometriosis)
Hey there fellow warriors. I am agonising over IVF transfer protocols. After a year of batch stimming I am very fortunate to have 3 euploid blastocysts on ice ready to transfer. I have had five failed transfers (x2 miscarriages, 3 BFNs) and feel like I have tried everything already in terms of protocols

*Sensitive* recurrent MCs, faint bfp
Hello! For context, I have a history of early recurrent miscarriages (3 last year), and a toddler. We have now been trying for 18 months, first 8 months with MCs and nothing last 10 months. I have an extremely low amh 1.75 pmol/l, so I was told I should move to IVF. I am due to start IVF medications
