Decreased symptoms.
Heads going into over drive. I had a viability scan last Tuesday at the ivf clinic. Baby was fine. Yesterday I noticed my symptoms had decreased. And then today they are basically gone. I'm 8w 2d. Is it normal for symptoms to just become less? I thought it may be the placenta taking over, but surely

Hello everyone, first of all apologies if everything is not very clear as English is not my first language (I generally speak it very well, however I'm not used to talk about medical terms). I'd love to hear about my dad's situation. My dad was diagnosed with Stage IV PC in September, 2022. PSA was

Initial Phase 1 Data on MB-105 for Patients with PSCA-positive Castration Resistant Prostate Cancer
From what I understand PSCA is highly expressed in prostate cancer cells but also in other kinds of cancer and also in other tissues (in small amounts), and its production increases as the disease progresses, making it a better target for later stages (but this is my speculation!). What is important

Chemo may be helping
Hi Fellow Fighters, Prior to my third round of Taxotere last Friday, I had blood work done. After 2 rounds, my PSA dropped 4.7 points. TBH, I feel like crap today, but the results are promising. My blood work also showed low cortisol levels, how concerned should I be about that? Thanks.

*Trigger warning* pregnancy and dealing with infertility-related PTSD
It's taken me a long time to decide to post this here. After 3 years of IVF and 4 failed transfers, 1 chemical pregnancy and 2 egg collections, I'm finally pregnant with my little boy (22 weeks tomorrow). I feel so grateful to be here, but I'm still struggling with the psychological impacts of IVF. I'm

hi everyone My hayfever has hit with a vengeance. I’ve tried to stay away from any medication but it’s extreme this year. I’ve heard conflicting advice on whether it’s safe or not safe to take during stims/egg collection etc also any tips on the best prenatal. I’ve been taking wild nutrition but

I’m looking forward to starting a family hopefully but I am absolutely petrified of medical interventions so I’m looking for answers to what will the hormone injections

Tests results: MTHFR mutation
Hey, hope everyone is doing well. So just as a bit of background I'm prepping for my third and final IVF cycle next month. After my second cycle failed my consultant recommended a heap of tests to just "cross the ts" and it's taken ages for all the genetic tests to come back. In that time the tests

IVF or ICSI age 40
hello, I’m just waiting for our DNA fragmentation test to come back for my husband but I’m considering doing IVF instead of ICSI this time around. I have done IVF in the past which was successful but I was younger. Anyone have positive IVF stories at the age of 40.

Ketogenic diet alters the epigenetic and immune landscape of prostate cancer to overcome resistance to immune checkpoint blockade therapy.
Overall, this strikes me as too hypothetical for us to apply, but what do I know? "Overall, these findings illuminate a potential clinical path of using HDACi and optimized KD regimens to enhance ICB therapy for PCa." HDACi = histone deacetylase inhibitor [To date, four HDAC inhibitors, Vorinostat

Is it common to get laryngitis with aps?
I have what seems like laryngitis for 4 weeks now. I'm struggling to talk for long. I'm seeing my ENT doctor Thursday for my ears and hope he will help with my throat (probably won't because it's ear clinic). Just wanted to say I haven't had any sort of virus before this I'm just wondering if aps can

IVF PGT pregnancy - high HCG at screening (low risk)
Hi everyone. I am currently 15 weeks pregnant with my first baby. It is an IVF pregnancy and it’s a PGT normal embryo that we transferred. Despite having a normal embryo we opted for combined screening. My results have come back low risk for my age - 1:260 and I’m aged 40. My NT was 1.9mm (mom = 1

High HCG at screening - IVF pregnancy
Hi everyone. I am currently 15 weeks pregnant with my first baby. It is an IVF pregnancy and it’s a PGT normal embryo that we transferred. Meaning it was testing and deemed to have the correct number of chromosomes before being transferred. The false negative chance of this is low at around 1-2%.
