Omeprazole prescribed to go along side Naproxen - First time - How do I take!?
I have been taking Naproxen for a few years now - Instead of having them as prescribed I have got by having 1 when my pain is so horrendous I can't cope and just dealing with the pain at other times. I have had to take a considerable amount more since I had my Mirena coil fitted and have also been prescribed

Is a kind of bruised feeling from within chest GERD?
Hi. I’ve just posted the following as a reply to an older post but thought I’d duplicate in the hope that someone sees it who can relate and advise. I am currently 5 months into DAPT and usual post HA meds: ” I think I am suffering with GERD but not diagnosed as been ‘chasing that chicken’ for two months

Timing of Pred dose and adrenal recovery
PMR diagnosed March 2019. I had successfully tapered down to 7.5mg by October, but then seemed to get stuck for 3 months. Every time I tried 7.00, pains returned. However, since mid-January, I have been able to get to 7.00 and am now slowly tapering to 6.5. Experimenting early on led to my taking

I have had symptoms related to reflux for 3 years, although it doesn’t fully add up. I get severe indigestion constantly, heartburn and abdominal cramping. Sometimes i’ll wake up in the night with my entire abdomen burning and I vomit up bright yellow acid. Occasionally my throat burns too. I also change

Interesting thought Dr!
Hi all. I hope that this post finds you all as well as can be expected😊. I don’t write too much these days, not because I’m too bad or anything but I just don’t have as many thoughts as I used to have about the disease. I exercised, juiced, fasted, red light hatted and I still have it unfortunately!

Hi can anybody offer advice please? My 12 year old son has been diagnosed with Eosinophilic esophagitis (EOE) in November 2019 after having an endoscopy. Ranitidine . . . or not?
Hello. I've been taking Omeprazole for many years and recently suggested to my GP that this be changed for something else. She's prescribed Renitidine but having read various warnings I'm wondering if it is wise to make the change. I will, in any case, wait until a current bout of (suspected) diverticulitis

Omeprazole dizziness?
Hey all, I've been on omeprazole for around 2.5years to treat severe reflux. For 5 months now i've suffered from on off bouts of intense 'lightheadedness' and fatigue. All other tests have come back clear and there seems to be no reason for these symptoms. The last 5 days have been particularly bad and

Heartburn, help!
I have been on 15mg Lansoprazole for over two years for heartburn and reflux due to small hiatus hernia. Four weeks ago Lansoprazole stopped working and even though I upped the dose to 30mg, I am still getting heartburn, sometimes at night (thought I was having a heart attack!). I have tried everything

Angioplasty support
I am new to the forum and just wanted to provide any support for anyone undergoing a stent procedure or recovering from one. I am a 61 year old male and I kept myself active with running, sailing, cycling etc. However, I started to become breathless when walking the dog. Net result was that I needed

COMPLETELY CONFUSED and in Need of Help, please
In June last year I had a blood test via the NHS and I was promptly called into the GP surgery and told that 'they' had been over-medicating me and I must reduce my dose of Levo straight away. I was on 125 mcg, and she suggested I should go down to 0.75. mcg. She also sent me for an Osteoporosis scan

Costochondritis: have many of you been diagnosed with this a year or two after CABG?
Just been given diagnosis of this - Costochondritis - after an ECG and review by good Doctor. I had some increase in general chest pain for 2-3 weeks, and various other aches and pains. My concern was the pain was a sign of circulation issues but have been reassured this is non Cardiac but just a consequence
