Kings Fertility, IVF London, IVI, Herts & Essex FC experiences? &/or duo stim with mild ivf clinic recommendations London /Kent/ Herts/SE
Hello, I have been recommended duo stim with mild/natural modified
IVF
by a fertility specialist and need some help deciding on a (or even finding the right ) clinic. Both duo stim and mild
IVF
seem appropriate given my age (41) and AMH levels. I can't find many clinics that do this.

Elevated iron levels-advice please
We have been refused for
IVF
on NHS due to diminished ovarian reserve which is pretty low for my age. I am 42 years old. I have always been aware that my haemaglobin has been on the high end for around 10 years and GP wasn’t concerned as it did not exceed the limit.

Small uterine polyp 6.5mm and continuing with FET? Any success stories
Went to a new clinic for
IVF
, explained about the scarring, no concerns until a few days before my egg collection was due, they thought it could be a polyp around 5.5mm and said as it's smaller than the 1cm that NICE recommend is removed I could go ahead with a transfer or do a freeze all and have a

Treatment abroad - help please
My partner and I have decided to move on to egg donation due my age and low response to
IVF
with my own eggs. It’s been a difficult decision but I’m feeling hopeful. I’m using a clinic in Spain, Alicante, called Ur Vistahermosa.

Should I use ICSI with a sperm donor?
The embryologist told me yesterday that the clinic uses ICSI by default (it’s an extra £1,350), but I can choose to have standard
IVF
if I wish. She said that the fertilisation rates for ICSI and
IVF
are broadly similar.

IVF: Bad clinic - no scan until day 10?
Hello I am due to start my first
IVF
cycle tomorrow. Unfortunately the clinic have told me the wrong protocol 4 times and now I'm anxious the latest one is also a mistake. What I want to know is if it
is normal not to have a scan until day 10 of your cycle?

No eggs retrieved- end of the road. What now?
I’m 42 with low AMH OF 0.8 - long story short- I had 4 previous cycles and 5 transfers between 2019 and 2021, all BFN and thought I was done with
ivf
. I spent the past year plus trying to move on.

Are my eyes playing tricks?
Have my 5 month old after yrs of
ivf
and had a chemical last month. Having all the same feelings, cramping, heaviness, exhaustion so done this test in the afternoon. It's only like 7dpo but I feel I see something but it could be line eyes 🙄

Extra testing during NHS IVF treatment
If you were to have extra tests done (i.e NK cell testing, which the NHS doesn't do) whilst technically under NHS funded
IVF
treatment (though you were on a break from that after yet another recurrant miscarriage), would that be okay? It wouldn't mean you'd potentially lose your funding?

Advice please, on two cancelled cycles
Thanks to everyone on here, would appreciate any advice.I have cancelled my second
IVF
cycle due to poor response to meds. First cycle was short protocol, Menopur and Cyclogest resulted in two follicles of required size.

Success stories with a day 5 2BB embryo or day 6 embryos please?
Since our gorgeous son was born via
IVF
in 2019, we seem to have had really bad luck with the frosties that we had left (1 MC at 9 weeks, 1 BFN as the clinic transferred the embryo too late, 1 totally heartbreaking TFMR at 14 weeks, and now another BFN).

Starting Meriofert on cycle day 8
Now I'm stressed and worried that they've messed me up and my
ivf
will fail because I was given incorrect instructions by the nurse to begin with. Has anyone else started their injections later in the cycle? And how did that go? Any similar experiences please share 🙏 xx
