Prostap periods
I have been having a few issues with not being accepted for free
IVF
treatment as my partner has a child from a previous relationship, however after looking on the NICE guidelines it states that someone who is going through fertility should not be given prostap injections.

Medicated Provera FET with Lubion and Clexane - bring it on
Hi all, After a lot of anxiety being rescheduled with the NHS nurse strike and overcrowded appointments, I just had my information session today to confirm I am about to start my
IVF
round 3 this month. I just need to vent it here (where else?) with my trusted friends you guys.

Assured fertility.. any experiences/dealing with that people would be willing to share...
I'm a single female currently paying for IUI with my clinic but considering going onto
IVF
if my 3rd IUI is not successful. Assured fertility costs are cheaper than my clinic and there does seems a few catches to the 100% refund plan aswell as the multicycle plan.

Wanted - mothers who have done it on their own and used donor sperm
Hi lovely ladies, I am 38, single and am looking into
IVF
with donor sperm. I have so many questions about what life will be like, and am fraught with worries too, such as family presence and male role models.

Advice on next steps - 2 failed natural IUIs, 1 more to go.... experiences/thoughts appreciated
So my questions are, would there be any benefit to doing 3 medicated IUIs or would /have people skipped straight to
IVF
? My concern is I couldn't afford to do 3 medicated IUIs and then
IVF
also so part of me feels it would be worth going straight to
IVF
.

Donor eggs in North Cyprus - advice please
. 💜 I am trying for a sibling after getting lucky on my first round, second transfer of
IVF
at 41. I am incredibly fortunate, lucky and grateful for this ☺️ I'm now 44 in 14 days! I have done 5 fresh rounds with my own eggs since last April - all BFN with 1 or 2 embryos transferred each time.

3rd Failed FET
We are doing PGD
IVF
so the testing dwindles the numbers as the condition we are screening is 50/50 chance. I just don’t understand why it hasn’t happened for us yet and it sucks.

Bad acne on ivf drugs after BFP
Hi Ladies I’m just wondering if any of you had bad acne on progesterone and steroids after your BFP. It’s worse than when I was a teenager, any advise or recommendations to calm it down would be greatly appreciated 💫

We paid for all
IVF
but it was like going from a poorly funded nhs clinic to a 5*
IVF
intense bootcamp. No stone is left unturned you are tested for EVERYTHING, I have had more blood tests in this round than in 5 at the old clinic.

Medication post transfer
Just wanted to ask what people have done with regards to their medication if they are having
IVF
abroad. Clinic is saying we would need to purchase 12 weeks of medication to take back to uk as i need to take if i am pregnant after the 2 week wait.

Immune testing and protocols when doing IVF
Hi I'm interested to learn more about how immune protocols work alongside
IVF
treatment. It's probably me overthinking it but I don't get it! I'm interested in knowing: - Did people get immune testing done at their
IVF
clinic or at a separate clinic (if your clinic didn't offer it perhaps)?

Possible endometrioma seen during fertility scans. How to address / diagnose? Input really welcomed
I have been through a few
IVF
cycles over the course of 2 years (no live birth yet). Sorry for long-ish post. I have been scanned by several different gynacologists / fertility consultants during my clinic visits. Sometimes they see what appears to be a small endometrioma on one ovary.

Family illness stress and IVF
Delaying the
ivf
isn’t really an option because of my age and I’m hoping by some miracle my mum could still be around if a baby ever comes. My stress levels are through the roof and I know this won’t be conducive to a successful pregnancy attempt.

new here- my story
Told chance of success with
IVF
would be 10-15% other option to investigate/ treat adenomyosis! So that’s where I’m currently at, last chance saloon it seems as I’m now 37. If anyone has any similar stories I’d love to hear from you ☺️
