Nothing straight forward here 🤪 appreciate any views Waited for period to start this months cycle of IVF - I was three days past due date and during this time I had a really sore stomach at points.

I missed the meal due to trying to eat healthier for IVF, and it took her 10 days to text me to tell me - excuse being she’s been busy with work 🫠. I’m already feeling a bit disregarded (especially as the other girls were told not to tell me), and she knows that I’m preparing for IVF.

Could it be from years of IVF hormones (been in and out of IVF for 3 years, no baby yet). I feel it must be peri menopause. Whatever your reply please be kind with your input, as I am really down about this and currently dread going to bed because it disrupts my sleep every night.

Hi all, just wondered if anyone had success or advice with using acupuncture, for pre/post FET? And if recommended a particular place /clinic? We're based in London. Many thanks in advance :)

I’ll be turning 40 in 3 weeks time and about to start my 2nd (last nhs funded) ivf cycle in the next 2 weeks. I had my 1st cycle last month which sadly resulted in a negative test, and the week before that, my husbands father passed away. We have been through the wars since April.

But has anyone else found on their IVF journey that friends have started hiding pregnancies. I’ve had that tonight and it’s so frustrating and isolating to feel that it had to be hidden from me. Sorry for the *rant*, just wondered if this is ‘normal’.

If you’re allowed 6 embryo transfers from a maximum of 3 stimulation cycles does this mean you can do 3 egg collections and have 6 transfers from those collections max? Or does it mean something else? I’m probably being stupid but I don’t understand this 😑.

I have taken pessaries on both of my IVF cycles (one which ended with a chemical and one which failed) but the other losses were natural. Thanks :)

This is the last embryo of my 2nd ivf round. My question is with 3 failed transfers & having stage 4 endo is there any tests i should ask for or discuss with my consultant before going in to round 3 ?

I’m a bit of a veteran at IVF and coped with 6 failed transfers and now my third miscarriage. I’m not looking for a quick fix to coping with it all as there isn’t one but anything anyone found particularly useful (other than time) that they could recommend? I’m finding it really tough. Podcasts?

We’ve finally made the decision (9 months after our last failed cycle) to have one last roll of the dice to try for a sibling (daughter born 2020 on fourth go at IVF/ICSI).

I know bad but post came up that said if you having your usual period symptoms then it's most likely that your ivf hasn't worked! Anyone have any postives about their FET working with having usual period symptoms?

I felt a bit gutted as this is my second round of IVF and with a protocol change (using a blend of ovaleap and meriofort) I was hoping for something more.

The consultant told us to ‘try’ for another 6 months, but I’ve asked to go straight to IVF, and we’ve been batched in with egg collection during the first week of November. But I feel numb.

I will have to do ivf again but im struggling and scared it will happen again . If it worked the first time does it mean i have no issues like endometriosis? Surely they would have raised concern? If they thought i had it? .

She had 1st ever IVF transfer (frozen) in November, which became positive but sadly didn’t get past 4 weeks. Out of curiosity, she asked her GP to test TSH a few days after finding out about the loss and it was 6.65- way above the levels it should be to maintain pregnancy.

I’m just waiting my my period to arrive then our ivf journey to begin. I’d love to hear some hints, tips, over 40 success stories. Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

Or save myself from the whole stress of IVF? What would you do?

I had my 7 week scan today after a successful IVF cycle and everything looked perfect BUT the heartbeat was slow at 90bpm. Doctor said it should be above 100bpm and google suggests it should be above 110/120bpm. Back in a week to see if things have progressed.

Hi I need a Hysteroscopy to remove a polyp before I can start my IVF treatment. I’m having it done privately, but even then the wait for it to be done under a general anaesthetic was about 10 weeks.
