Tonsil Stones from IVF Treatment - Anyone Else?
I've also read that recurring tonsillitis has been linked to
IVF
treatment. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

What happens after NHS fertility referral?
As his first test was subfertile, but his second was not, I'm unsure if we'd be eligible for
IVF
before 2 years ttc - has anyone had anything similar? What actually happens when you're referred?

Heavy periods
I had endo zapped a few years ago before my first
IVF
with OE. Moved on to DE now. My clinic don’t seem to be concerned or want to do any investigations/treatment, but after 6 failed transfers of 8 embryos it’s playing on my mind. Any advice or experiences?

**sensitive** BFN - Is it me?!
Having difficulty processing and accepting the BFN,
IVF
has been our journey through male factor infertility and I’m feeling like after all the hurdles to get to where we are, my body has failed our little embryo as I feel we “ticked” all the other boxes and it wasn’t successful.

I had three rounds of
IVF
last year and all ended in early miscarriage (in each case, the 7 week scan showed that the embryo stopped developing) I'm struggling to process things at the moment and feeling really down xx

Stimulation period and exercise
Hello everyone,I am doing
IVF
through the NHS and I am now waiting for the next stage which is ovarian stimulation. The doctor told me in the first appointment that during stimulation I won't be able to do any exercise because of the ovarian torsion.

Essential oils and IVF
Hello, I've recently been making efforts to free my home as far as possible from environmental toxins in preparation for my next round of
IVF
, the book 'It starts with the egg' recommends not using plastics with BPA etc and also using fragrance free products like hand soap etc, I ordered alot of products

Oocyte Anti-aging Protocol
I'm over 40 and just after the fourth unsuccessful
IVF
cycle. I have not received a healthy aploid embryo so far. I am struggling with the quality of my occites. Previouslu I have been taking: Ubiquinol 400mg, DHEA 25-75mg and prenatal vitamins with high level of DHA.

Day 1: 5 fertilised
I'm going through my first ever
IVF
. Friday had a scan which showed 11 follicles, had my eggs collected on Monday - they got 8. I'm trying to work out why I 'lost' 3. Had the phone call this morning and 5 fertilised which I do understand is between the 60-70% rate the clinic says.

IVF
seems to have taken over my life. I spoke to a doctor in US to get a second opinion was I wasn’t happy with my old clinic. I am going to be 44 and I have been told by this doctor that I may have premature ovarian ageing or POA.

Pregnancy and steriods
I have used prednisone as part of my
ivf
protocol albeit a lower dosage. I am a bit nervous to take this as I am worried about the impact on the baby. What are your thoughts? Anyone being in a similar position? Thank you! I am just worried!

Twins, HCG did anyone get a faint line initially on first pregnancy test?
Just curious, we transferred 2 embryos
ivf
and I really want twins. Tested today but received a faint line - positive though.. I’ve been reading on here the lines are darker with twins. How true is this?

independent fertility advice any suggestions?
We have just completed our second round of
IVF
ICSI which was unsuccessful. Our clinic is advising that we just do the same again. I don’t think that’s the best option as we’ve done the same protocol twice and hasn’t been successful.

Advice about donor profile
Hello This is my first time at
ivf
with a donor and we are using a clinic in Northern Cyprus. They have sent a few donor profiles, which just list six things: eye colour, age, hair colour, skin, their country of birth and success rate.

minimum for PGTA?
Especially as with all the years of trying and
IVF
I am now 37 with an AMH of 4.9pmol/l so really no time to lose. Let alone the emotional crapness it entails. Thanks for reading if you’ve made it this far! xx

ICSI risks?!
Everything went well on my side; I was elated with my 20 eggs 💪 but the embryologist decided on the day to do ICSI instead of
IVF
due to my partners sperm. 7 fertilised the next day and they're now in the freezer until we're ready to transfer next month.
