Delaying Treatment
Hi all, I’ve been waiting to start
IVF
this month. We’ve had to go privately because my BMI is just under 35. I’ve been working to get it down significantly and was on track to start this month. I’ve been so down about everything and really looking forward to getting started.

Fatigue, anaemia and chest pain
Just waiting for an
IVF
appointment. I've stopped eating gluten, not having caffeine or alcohol. Taking supplements. Eating well, sleeping well, exercising and built in nice activities to do each week to help with low mood.

pcos 26 yo bfn - fet 1
I will have to do
ivf
again but im struggling and scared it will happen again . If it worked the first time does it mean i have no issues like endometriosis? Surely they would have raised concern? If they thought i had it? .

Breast not painfully sore as before
I have been trying to conceive for over 4.5 years and have unexplained infertility (2ivf cycle, & 2 miscarriages, 1
ivf
, 1 natural). I had an FET 8days ago and my breast stopped being painfully sore since day 7, I can now sleep on it or hug my partner without any pain.

6 week viability Scan - IVF
Hi all, With gods blessing I have recently got a positive test from my
IVF
FET cycle. I am currently over 4 weeks and I asked my clinic about a 6 week viability scan and they said they don’t provide one unless there was an issue before my 12 week viability scan which is end of Sept.

Endo regrowth after failed IVF
Has anyone gone through multiple rounds of
IVF
and found that their endo has started to worsen after laparoscopic removal? I’ve had 3 failed rounds of PGD
IVF
(medicated both long and short protocols) and had my laparoscopy surgery in 2021.

The end of the road
I can't believe I'm writing this but our
ivf
journey is over in the most heartbreaking way. Everything was looking good with my lining, ovulation, progesterone over 100 and we got the call yesterday morning that our final embryo had survived the thaw and was looking good.

Managing OHSS risk
I'm on my first
IVF
cycle and due for egg collection on Monday. We always knew I was high risk for OHSS as I have PCOS, and had an AMH of 205 initially, (which has reduced to 45 on Metformin), so were always planning to freeze the eggs from this cycle.

chemical pregnancy?
I’m now under care of a new clinic and agreed to try naturally with progesterone and aspirin support for 2/3 my cycles before moving on to
IVF
. I’m 39. I’ve just had a BFP yesterday morning, making me 4 weeks pregnant, but today I’ve started bleeding.

So, after 4 failed
IVF
rounds behind us, I wanted to find out if our 5th round embryos have stared to implant at all. All I ever had previously were stark white BFNs. I have never ever had a positive pregnancy test in my hand and we have been trying for the last 8 years.

Lazy ovary
Hi all, anyone else experienced one ‘lazy ovary’ during
ivf
stimulation scans? I had my first scan this morning (day 6 of stims), and one ovary had lots of healthy looking follicles, but the other was looking pretty dormant, and the follicles within it were all very small and hadn’t grown.

As I am about to start a new
IVF
cycle again soon, I can’t even join a gym or anything like that as anything that is not gentle exercise is not recommended. I just struggle to focus on exercising on top of everything else. Any wise words? thanks, A

Natural cycle FET likely to be cancelled due to ovulation on small follicle. What does this mean about my eggs/ ovaries? Having a wobble
I feel really low as this is 5th and final embryo from our 1st round of
IVF
and I'm just so weary of it all and worried my ovaries are giving up the ghost. Any reassurances would be gratefully received. Can you just have a dud month? Is stress likely to be the issue or my age (35)?

Implantation bleeding?
Hi,My girlfriend and I are on our first round of
IVF
. I'm 6 days post transfer. Earlier this week (2 days post transfer), I had awful lower back pain. It was there all day then by the next day it was gone. Had a few stomach cramps but none since 4 days post transfer.

stress/upset at waiting times
We are considering paying privately to do a round of
IVF
or IUI whilst we are awaiting for our NHS treatment, but suddenly thought would we then not be eligible for our NHS treatment if the private treatment failed? Has anyone had any experience with this?

Infertility grief
IVF
worked for us and we have two amazing boys. But I can't shake the feeling of being robbed of some feelings...Does anybody else have a little cry after sex? Because yes, sex is fun, but we will never get pregnant like that? No suprise pregnancy, no 'lets try for a baby' stage...
