Torn Hamstring - 6 mths on
Hi everyone, I tore a hamstring in March this year when my left leg went into the worst spasm l have ever experienced. This was after l had had a PFO done - a closure of a hole in the heart -; it was so bad that l had to have 2 shots of dia-morphine; didn't know at the time that l had torn the muscle

Drained and losing weight
Hi hope your all well. Its just a query to see if anyone else has experienced what is going on with me at moment. I have had diarrhoea now for 3 and a half weeks, at first I was obviously told to stop taking lactulose, to see if it would clear up, it didn't. I have had my bloods done and also given

HI everyone i'm interested in whether there was a trigger to you getting Fibro, I had a hip replacement and came round from the op with nerve damage to the opposite leg and it all went down hill from there, with pains everywhere, constant exhaustion, muscle spasms, daily headaches that develop into migraines

Steroid injection
I fell and broke my hip last October and had to have a hip replacement. I suffered a lot of pain from the hip and my other joints . When I saw the rheumy in May he suggested a steroid injection which has greatly improved all my joint pain. I am 58 years old and have subsequently put on weigh especially

My Story
I was athletic and healthy as a horse growing up. I started taking piano and ballet when I was four. I was on the gymnastics and swim teams all through school, and went horseback riding every Sunday afternoon. I grew up in Pasadena, CA and every Saturday afternoon I would go with my dad to do grocery

Post hip-replacement
The surgery was done using a spinal anaesthetic so no adverse neuro reactions and all went well. Thanks to getting everyone on board with time in a rehab center that happened as well. It was brilliant as they not only drilled J with safety techniques in every aspect, but even had speech therapy advise

After visiting the Drs I have been informed I will need a hip replacement, to be honest I'm struggling with the thought of having surgery. Has anyone been through this? I know it won't happen overnight and I've said, I need time to

Hip replacement update
Hi all, I have seen my surgeon last week and he said it will need a new ball to be placed in the socket, this will be like a revision operation which can take 6-8 weeks providing they can get the part needed. This can be worse when you're older due to the bones not being as strong as when you're younger

I'm due to have my left hip replaced Aug /sept. I had my right done 9 years ago. It's been ready for a few years now after having RA flare up since I was 7ish. I'm 54 now so done pretty well. I'm really suffering now due to my job as a Manager in Retail and on my feet a lot. My weekend off is just trying
