Pain relief failing - Help!
Hi, I’m new here but it’s been really interesting to read everyone’s posts and know I’m not going through it alone. I had a laparoscopy last June where they excised endometriosis from my pouch of Douglas. I was in agony before, so much so I had to take weeks off work (I’m a primary school teacher)

Changed to medication
Hi everyone. I've been on dihydrocodiene for about 15 years due to chronic pain following a road crash leaving my feet crushed and pinned and my neck broken. Dihydrocodiene has made the pain manageable but I have been told this month by my GP pharmacist that they can no longer prescribe it as it has

If Putin uses nuclear weapons, how can we treat radiation poisoning?
Potassium iodide is a salt tablet that helps block radioactive
iodine
from being absorbed by the thyroid gland. Most nuclear accidents release radioactive
iodine
, which is absorbed into the body.

Fine TSH but lowish t4?
Or maybe
iodine
helped that. But still I am not sure if this is ok because now t4 and t3 are even lower. Do you think these are ok results?

Request for assistance in interpreting blood test when GP is satisfied but I am not, and still feel terrible...
I was diagnosed hypothyroid about twelve years ago and given radioactive
iodine
treatment (and little alternative - I knew very little then and was scared into it by talk of heart attacks, etc). Since then I have been on levthyroxine.

codeine
hi everyone, I’ve always had bad anxiety and in last few years slipped into taking codeine when struggling. Now can’t stop (I just buy it over counter with ibuprofen) - between 9 -16 pills a day averagely. I want to stop but get more anxious when I try. Anyone have this? Anyone have any tips to help

A long post - How medication was ruining my life, not making me better! Reassurance for anyone concerned about stopping medication.
Hi ladies. A very Happy New Year to you all! I am hoping that 2023 treats you all with improved health and a wealth of happiness. I have seen a lot of posts recently appearing on my feed regarding treatments and hormones, and so I just wanted to share my recent experience of stopping all treatments.

Wondering about Betadine/Povidone-Iodine solution and Thyroid
I just realized that this solution has
iodine
in it. The solution is diluted (0.5% Povidone-
Iodine
solution) and the mists are about 15ml, - with about 1/2 teaspoon per 1.5 ounces. Do I need to be concerned about this? I never really thought about
iodine
.

Can you relate?
I’ve just signed up and written my bio, and wondered if there were ppl here that can relate? I’ll copy and paste it below :) From when I started my period the pain levels were beyond anything anybody I met or spoke with had experienced. Every month I have to take each day I’m on my period: 3,200mg

Best blood values
Just wonder if similar recommendations exist for zinc, selenium,
iodine
, iron and omega 3 and 6? I’m on WFPBD, take some supplements and check my blood values every three months, some more expensive ones like Omega 3/6 once a year. Many thx for sharing your experience & knowledge.

Still not running 😐
So, a few people have asked how I am and if I'm feeling better.Thank you . Basically the answer I'm afraid is no ! Some will know as I have mentioned it before but I have suffered with sinus problems pretty much all of my adult life (And that's quite some time 😐) This particular episode started on 27th

Managing endometriosis / adenomyosis pain during treatment.
I am currently on Buserelin and Estrogen Patches in prep for my FET first week of Jan. Prior to this I had Prostap for 8 weeks and it really helped with my pain. Towards the last week of the Prostap I could tell my pain was increasing and since starting the other medication it has gotten worse. I
