Tendonitis and other things
So they just ignore my symptoms 😫 According to genetic testing I have DI01 with severe decrease from T4 to T3 and I should try to support the system with selenium and
iodine
but can't do more. Where I live private labs do not exist and I have beg the referral to lab to get anything tested.

Help For The Thyroid
These Thyroid disorders are typically caused by a lack of
iodine
and/or selenium. This is where Irish Moss elevates itself. It is packed with more
iodine
and selenium than any other food on the planet.

Anyone use amitriptyline for endo pain?
I've seen mention of amitriptyline used for endo pain on here. Can anyone tell me their experiences with this? I'm at a point where my medication isn't working well enough and am looking for other options. If anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know too! I'm currently taking 60mg codeine

Another Laparoscopy?
outpatient from the hosp. I'm concerned that this is going to start becoming a regular thing again, after being pain free (relatively) for the best part of 8 months. Especially considering all day I've had this pain again. I can only subdue the pain with codeine and amitriptyline. I am still having a

Purchasing T3 without prescription
Hi everyone, I've been struggling to get better on levothyroxine alone since RAI treatment in September 2018. Please could anyone private message me if you know of a reliable source that can supply T3 without prescription? I appreciate your help. Thanks Craig

Best levels to aim for.....
After tests which included a nuclear thyroid scan, I was advised to have Radioactive
Iodine
treatment for hyperthyroidism which was carried out on 21 Jan. I’m due to have blood tests soon, prior to first review with Endo on 3 March.

Blood test results and goitre issues
The results all came back within range: TSH 1.86 (0.27 - 4.2) Free T3 4.63 (3.1 - 6.8) Free Thyroxine 15 (12 - 22) Thyroglobulin antibodies 11 (<115) TPA <9 (<34) I was wondering if the goitre could be related to a lack of
iodine
?

High Free Thyroxine
The kind and generous people on this forum have taught me all I know about thyroid generally. Thank you! Now, I really would be grateful for your views on my personal condition. Diagnosed with Graves Disease in 2014 I underwent RAI Therapy in 2016. From the outset my blood results were anomalous.

Mirena coil?
Just wanting some advice/reassurance on the Mirena coil, I had it fitted 3 weeks ago, didn’t have much of a choice as doctors said they wouldn’t do a second laparoscopy without me trying the coil first. Also got prescribed naproxen to try and reduce the amount of codeine I’m taking (wayyyy to much for

I have thyroid cancer 😢
Just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I had a TT for graves disease and results came back showing cancer of 2cm. It has spread to lymph node so will now have lymph node removal and RAI (once corona virus is over). My world has just come tumbling down 😢

Supplements are Useless... Really! Let me dispel that notion
But a few days later I order
Iodine
tablets and a B2/B3 complex that reportedly goes well with it. I had used this combination before for her cold hands and feet prior to the firm PD diagnosis. Links to Amazon here

Amitriptyline for Endometriosis - what’s your experience?
I’ve tried several painkillers now: codeine, mefanamic acid, tramadol, codydramol and naproxen. They’ve now prescribed me Amitriptyline and I was wondering what anyone else’s experience was with this drug or any other medication they have found useful with managing endometriosis pain?
