Iodine - Can It Really Be That Bad?
I would be interested in learning of personal experiences with taking
iodine
. The good, the bad, and everything in between. I think I may test my
iodine
and tyrosine levels next! Ever learning. Love and Peace.

Any idea why when taking any dose of
iodine
along with protocol it send my tpo rising. Trying to figure this for some time now. Lots of people with hashimotos take
iodine
with no problem.

Iodine in pregnancy supplement
I have found a pregnancy vitamin supplement however it has 150mcg of
Iodine
in it. I understand
Iodine
is not good for those with hypothyroidism and we do not need it BUT my future baby will rely on my
Iodine
intake during the first 12 weeks.

iodine to take it or not?
could someone clear up the
iodine
issue with me? I was under the impression that it was bad to take
iodine
. Due to trying for a baby I have resorted to a private nhs gp who specialises in hormone health.

iodine
. Any advice would be greatly received.

Recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism..but not prescribed any meds as total result still seems to function...I have done some research and have seen that this disease can be because of a lack of
iodine
and selenium..at the time my b12 was low, but now ok with me buying b12 drops..methylcobalamin..has

EBRT - sunbathing, water intake, iodine, kids
Iodine
is often taken as a protection against radiation. Would
iodine
tablets be helpful during EBRT? Or would they be counterproductive? 4.) Is it safe to be near small children approx. 1 hour after an EBRT session? Thank you

T3-only/ iodine levels
Can someone please explain the impact that taking T3-only medication might have on
iodine
levels given that deiodination is no longer involved in T4 to T3 conversion? Thank you!

Use of iodine in CT and PET scans
I am aware of the danger of taking
iodine
supplements and their possible effect on the thyroid. Does it follow that investigations requiring intravenous
iodine
as in some CT and PET scans pose a risk to people with Hashimotos?

Prevention Routine?? 5 1/2yrs. on the I/O clinical trial
I also use
iodine
nasal spray when I go out to eat or flying etc. I also have an
iodine
throat spray available should I feel a sore throat coming on. Haven’t used that. I asked both Mayo’s and the James Center about the
iodine
and neither got an endorsement or a refusal for me to use it.

iodine/ Lugols ever ok for hypos?
I have come across Sarah Myhill’s advice to LC sufferers, and know many with thyroid problems have consulted her/ her books/website; her regime starts with high vit C ( 5 g) and
iodine
( Lugols 15% solution).

I guess it’s the

in my perimenopausal gummies I’m most concerned about! Thanks in advance.
