Should I try and get referred to add t3?
Hi. I have underactive thyroid resulting from RAI 15 years ago. I have never really felt myself since but I’ve always just put it down to getting older and being a tired Mum. I’m still waiting for my next cardiologist appointment hopefully in the next few weeks , pain has been increasing by my pm, it started as a very mild discomfort on the left edge , every day gets more painful especially after I’ve been reaching up or been more active at home , nothing too strenuous ,

Iodine and other issues
nonplussed the main question is, is it ok to take an
Iodine
supplement as salt isn't good for balance issues.

Anyone else get super itchy, highly sensitive fingertips?
This only started a few days ago but I’m wondering if it could be thyroid related. The tip of my finger is irritatingly super itchy. Like I want to constantly rub it against the sharp corner of my worktop. All the time. It’s also really sensitive. I had RAI treatment ages ago and paranoid about nerve

Pregabalin, gabapentin, AED, epileptic drug interactions with B12 processes
Hiya, Does anybody have information on why long term use of AEDs like Pregabalin and gabapentin affect B12. I am deficient as a result of ileum and large intestine surgery, not pernicious anaemia and IM inject myself daily. If the issue lies in intestinal/stomach absorption then I am inclined to continue

Hi all - I’m soon to move house, and so with that will be getting a new GP. My previous GP just put me on a sleep study for RLS, and was advising on some medication I’d been warned about here. Approaching my new GP, what’s the current medication people suggest here for RLS? I broke both my elbows a

Transitioning from 150mcg of Thyroxine to Metavive help please
I am alaso taking Sea Green capsules x 3 a day for
iodine
. Is 40g x 2 per day enough Metavive for someone who was on high strength thyroxine of 150mcgs per day? What are your thoughts? And how do I regulate my health?

Iron treatment
I’ve had RLS for decades, getting worse, but actually talked to my GP only yesterday for the first time after reading a long article in the BMJ in March, and keeping a diary of symptoms for the past month. On the International RLS Study Group rating scale I scored 20, which was the top end of moderately

Recent Results TSH: 4.99mlU/L ( 0.24 - 4.2) was 2.72 mlU/L in October 2020 ( I have been supplementing with
Iodine
for the last 12 weeks plus Zinc, Selenium, Vit E and NAC ) Have read to expect TSH to rise for a period of
iodine
supplementation, and then it will settle. A bit anxious about this.
