COVID - Continued Infection
I tested positive for Covid on the 26 December and received 5 days of Paxlovid and tested negative a few days latter following completion of the course. On the 5th Jan I tested positive again, a possible rebound. Some 14 days later I am still testing positive, the line on the LFT was getting lighter

Covid
Have just tested positive for Covid. Has the advice about antivirals changed? Im thinking that they dont feel we need them now we have had so many vaccinations? Have informed NHS so no doubt they will let me know. Am following sick day rules for now.

Happy New Year!
It was a little late, but a couple of days ago, it hit me: January 1st was the 5th anniversary since I've lit up or smoked a cigarette! Of course, I am fast approaching the 1 year anniversary since I tested positive for a UTI and I still have it. Doesn't matter how many antibiotics I take, it

just a thought, I’ve have a lot of time in my sick bed with a chest infection and just wanted to put something out there If you don’t all mind. In April last year I contracted Covid, I wasn’t to bad with it and thought I recovered quite well, but I have had a lot of thinking time. So here goes a long

Confabulation
"Confabulation happens when your brain creates scenarios that did not occur to make up for gaps in your memory. It can happen as a result of various memory disorders or an injury to the brain". Healthline.co.uk (2017). The elderly gentleman I care for full time confabulates in almost every conversation

Life back to normal (no arrhythmia) until early October felt fine but blood pressure increase for no reason (180/98) and ectopics when resting/in bed, HR normal to low but

Struggling big time
Hi everyone, hope this is a good day for u all. I got Infectious Encephalitis about 5wks ago following Micro Vascular Decompression surgery. Unfortunately I had 5 CSF leaks over a period of a wk and half, had to be restitched 4 times. They were worried that I would get an infection, and I did. Unfortunately

me again!
sorry for another post. I’m isolated with covid and I feel so alone. Posting and letting my feelings out helps a bit. I haven’t seen my boyfriend in two weeks because he’s been sick. I was so excited to spend the long weekend with him and now I have covid, which means I won’t be seeing him until I test

COVID
One of my fears is now becoming a reality. I had covid in July and I struggled so much with living alone during that time. I felt so trapped and isolated. My anxiety was so terrible. I cried 24/7. This morning I tested positive for covid. It’s like I’m reliving thag nightmare. I know it sounds dramatic

AF after Covid jab
I have had 4 Covid jabs and each time have had a reaction that confined me to bed for at least 48 hours. In April 2022 after my pre op I underwent a total knee replacement - all went fine. I returned to have the pre op for my other knee to find that my heart beat was very irregular - AF had developed

Suspected B12 deficiency and about to start SI
Hi everyone, I’ve had ID anaemia (microcytic hypochromic) for over 20 years and was told by a GP many years ago that this was due to malabsorption. I’ve had hypothyroidism since 2014, long covid for the past 2 years, and a vax injury from March 2021 that is only just being investigated by rheumatology

Recent Thyroid test (need thoughts)
I recently did my thyroid tests. I decided to do my labs 4 months sooner then scheduled because since having Covid in October my body has been on speed (My pulse randomly jumps to over 120 bpm) doing absolutely nothing and then drops to low 70s just as fast doing the very same thing I was doing when

Well it’s finally got me !! Covid strikes again.
What an absolute bummer this rotten virus is. I was struck down on Sunday afternoon with what I thought was a cold. Had a fever and high temperature for almost three days. On Monday I rang 111 after a few hours they rang me back to assess me for antivirals and then again at 4.30 am from a out of hours

Post COVID run
Morning all. Today was my first post COVID run since Boxing Day. I took it really slowly. I went a long with Sanjiv repeating week 9 run 3. He voice is so calming. I quite often just repeat that week, a bit of a comfort blanket. I had my new trainers on. No probs there. This is the best I've felt since
