Protein in urine
Hello, I’m currently 38+6 weeks pregnant and for the past 3 weeks I have tested positive for protein and blood in my urine. My blood pressure is normal, I have no urine infection and my blood tests came back as normal. I really don’t understand what could be causing this. I have read about pre eclampsia

Methotrexate Cessation after contracting covid
Hello everyone… I tested positive for Covid this morning and have fairly manageable symptoms… just a headache and sore throat. But… I am due to take 15ml of Methotrexate today so should I stop the methotrexate for a week to let my immune system try and clear this. I’ve had three vaccinations but never

Thanksgiving Gathering Cancelled - Covid (again) hits our Family.. Uggh
Well good news n bad news … The good news is our family members have been testing for covid prior to meeting with my wife n I (we both have cancer) for quite sometime now. That’s a good thing to do, cus previous covid positive tests have stopped a few prior gatherings from happening (we end up doing

COVID & Flu jab with morning sickness whilst pregnant
Hi. I am just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience.I am 8 weeks pregnant and started having mild nausea last week which has been very very steadily building. Sort of felt like car sickness with a nasty taste in my mouth and aversions to certain food. On Saturday I had my double jab I tried

Is it stress or gut issues?
After being felled by the flu and covid vaccines, and then 14 days later getting covid, as well as a fair amount of 'big events' happening at the same time I am still struggling. I am now only 16 days post testing negative for covid but my mental health absolutely tanked while I had covid and I'm improved

A question about post Covid
I have been advised that I have long Covid. My GP said that when I feel a bit better to start to do some graded activity. I am miles off running at the moment but wondered whether to try following the C25k program but alternate slow and faster walks. I thought it might provide a structure to follow.

Long Covid OCD
For almost all of the pandemic I was pretty reasonable, I think, about safety precautions. I got both doses of the vaccine, I got a booster, I followed the recommendations for masks, etc. Recently however, I made a decision to meet a friend which was, I’ll say for the purposes of this post, less than

Interested in an holistic approach and alternative routes to reducing AF episodes & more?
Try this video on MCAS. Its a new diagnosis and evidently affects 17% of us to a greater or lesser degree. First half quite medical, second half very practical. Essentially about making lifestyle changes to modify the body's own state of health and defence mechanisms, which although not actually mentioned

Dear All, My initial MBC diagnosis was in 2016 with one metastatic spot on the top of the left femur bone near the hip. Treatment was very light with a daily letrozole pill and a monthly Lupron injection. The spot melted away in one year and remained NED on annual scans for five years. I was working

laryngospasm started in recent months
I have had a slight occasional tickle on the back right side of my throat for several years now. In the last year or two it has become much more easily irritated and I feel like food has gone down the wrong way far more easily. I am often not actually using eating when this happens, it happens when I

A Depressive Episode
Today there were loud screams again, but I didn't panic, I had (and am still going through) something strange. I haven't had this reaction before. I feel sluggish, sad, and unmotivated. As soon as I heard it, I just sunk into a depressing mood. I want to do nothing and I just feel so melancholic. Is

Paxlovid and newly diagnosed
Hi all, I’ve tested postive for CoVId (this morning) and have been prescribed a 5 day course of Paxlovid. I was diagnosed with CLL exactly a month ago today. Had a flu jab a week ago. Not quite sure where I picked it up from. I do work with small children in a school so possibly one of them! Am on watch

My story: AFib, Covid and the jabs
Sometime ago, someone on this forum wanted to know more about how AF, the virus and shots interact. That's an important question. I want to share my own story, not to open up a debate but to try to address that question from my own experience. I apologize for the length. I was diagnosed with fast
