public school has failed my daughter.
Hello everyone I’m new here I just saw the site and wanted a place to come as an outlet for my mental health and stress. Well I will start by saying my daughter was a late developer when it came to speaking and a few more things when she started early childhood learning at 3/12 my baby had made so much

Covid
Has anyone had Covid recently and found it’s hit them much harder than previous bouts? I’m wondering if it’s because it’s been a year since I was last vaccinated? Currently 2 weeks in, on steroids and think I probably have a chest infection too!

After 25 years they have stopped my B12 - what can I do?
I'm in my early sixties. Generally very good health. On no medication. About twenty five years ago my then brilliant GP did a blood test for B12. A few days later rang me to come to the surgery immediately where he injected B12 himself. Apparently I had dangerously low levels of B12 that indicated I

Covid - Fatigue
I'm on day 11 of Covid now and been testing for negative for a few days. I felt very ill for about 4 days with a weird headache, body aches and stuffy nose and sinuses, but I now can't shake off the terrible fatigue. My asthma both times of having Covid has been manageable thankfully, but I wondered

Fibromyalgia, Long Covid and hypnotherapy
I have been attending long covid course and some links provided by visiting GP was to this Dr. Howard Schubinerwebsite who said after reading his own book many people recovered if it’s all in our head but if real pain and it’s just a case of us learning to deal and cope with it can hypnotherapy help

Pyelonephritis
Hi there. I was diagnosed last Friday with a UTI which travelled up into the kidneys causing unbelievable pain. I had to go to A&E in the middle of a night and this is when I was diagnosed and they gave me some antibiotics, seven day course of which I finished on Friday. But I still had some back pain

Covid and Ataxia
I have SCA6 and recently tested positive for Covid. I have none of the usual Covid symptoms but my Ataxia symptoms are much worse. Impossibly dizzy, uncoordinated legs, difficulty walking and very weak. Has anyone else experienced this with Covid?

Covid, Tapering and Actemra
Hi, I have a mild case of Covid (my 3rd bout.) I had already tapered down to 2 mg. pred. and had been feeling quite well. (I am also on Actemra, which seems to be working well, in my case.) Should I stop the Actemra while I am sick? And just hold steady with the 2 mg. prednisone? Thanks for this

Covid and a hive type rash
I’m Day 3 of having Covid (got it from hubby who’s today thankfully tested negative 😃) I’m not too bad now congestion wise, just feeling absolutely flawed & little appetite, plus napping a lot. I have a sensitive skin at the best of times, but today I’ve developed a really bad itchy/hives type skin

body giving up on me after Covid… the saga continues!
Hi all - body is still really giving up on me after contracting Covid in May and struggling to put it all right. I’ve had pernicious anaemia for many, many years but never experienced anything like this. My B12 definitely isn’t working properly and neither is my stomach! First came the tanking ferritin

I even got a hug!
He looks a little pale but is doing better. He had a lower intestine blockage & they barely got to it in time. He said he spent 3 weeks in the hospital with a tube down his nose. When he got sick back during the covid pandemic he wound up with his normal antibiotics going haywire. He had covid got

Covid
Could I ask if anyone has had covid recently and it's knocked them for six? I never tested positive all over the lock down even though I was working. Had a bilateral subdural haematoma 2.5 years ago and feel totally wiped out with it. Thanks for listening.

Covid vaccine
Does anyone know anything about the availability of the Covid jab over the autumn/winter? I have heard nothing. My last jab was in February. Apparently Covid is on the rise. I’m thinking of getting a private vaccine, but apparently these may not cover the latest variants.

Covid again - watch this space!- Update
Hi all, remember my post above from last week well I said I would update Monday after the test. You guessed it…. I fell really ill. I went out for a walk Monday morning and wasn’t feeling that bad but Monday afternoon it started taking hold of me, just feeling really poorly (what do I mean by poorly?
