Ibuprofen

Can I just ask your advice what to do I had steroid injection last Thursday and started back on mtx 20mg yesterday, I’m in so much pain , does anyone know if I could pop A couple of ibuprofen

Pre diagnoses I was in a terrible state, under the care of a GP who admitted she didn't have a clue what was wrong with me and so with no medication other than Ibuprofen my heath deteriorated to the point where I was bedridden.

Along with my headache Monday my stomach has been gurgling and bubbling non stop with some body aches that left after I took a small amount of ibuprofen. The bubbling stomach doesn’t hurt but leaves me feeling like I could vomit at anytime even though I haven’t yet and I do still have an appetite.

But she said maybe it was just on the day that I wasn’t feeling great and my ggt spiked or infact it was my ibuprofen I had been taking.

Unfortunately I've got a bad reoccurrence of a back spinal injury but my AFib medication doesn't allow me to take Ibuprofen, can anyone please advise what options I have to take an alternative anti-inflamatory medication, something stronger than paracetamol. Thank you.

However Fenbids apparently got alcohol in it as well as ibuprofen which is apparently bad for the liver. Just wondering if anyone knows of any alternative to Fenbid or anyone who has also had this problem? Hes been told he can have 1 paracetamol very occasionally.

Serum T4 and T3 were unchanged in patients treated with diflunisal, ibuprofen, indomethacin, piroxicam, or sulindac.

But all times I experience severe pain in my anus, back and lower pelvis and I go through boxes and boxes of ibuprofen, feminax and paracetamol only to find that they wear off within moments.

That afternoon another specialist came and told me that All Asthmatics have this problem and it was costochondritis, and the only pain relief was Ibuprofen which I cant take because of Asthma.

I took paracetamol and ibuprofen and it did nothing, then tried codeine and it only took the very edge off the pain. Ever since then I’ve had mild pains in my lower stomach (pelvic area) and still have all the pressure in my left side?

Had to miss my third run of week three twice now as the pain in my hip started again This is why I had to stop when I tried his before I’m taking ibuprofen till it’s gone away enough to try again. It’s on the outside of my right hip - a stabbing pain - any ideas ?????

I have taken paracetamol, ibuprofen and CBS oil but nothing seems to help . Very painful to sit up or down and walking. I take methotrexate by injection and folic acid once a week also on apixaban.

I spoke to a nurse in my gp clinic who prescribed me Tranexamic acid to stop the bleeding and told me to pop some ibuprofen! I’m already on a naproxen co-codamol cocktail!! I’m waiting to hear back from my consultant to see if he has any advice!

The ache in my shoulder is constant and I'm using tylenol plus ibuprofen to dampen it. kpo

Has anyone used Ibuprofen for the relief of back pain symptoms associated with XTANDI? Thanks

And IBS medication doesn't seem to help (buscopan and mebeverine also paracetamol and ibuprofen) is this normal for IBS, I'm worried that it's maybe something else and it's getting overlooked.

I'm taking 60mg of codine 4 times a day along with ibuprofen and paracetamol. Any ideas or anyone been through it, I can't understand why my back and ribs hurt the most. Thank you so much

Note I had been taking ibuprofen for 8 days 3 times a day prior for an achy leg, doctors told me to take it for 14 but when my liver enzymes were showing high told me to stop taking them as this could be reason for my higher levels.

On promethazine at night to get rested sleepbut woke this am and the symptoms started. taken paracetamol and ibuprofen an hour ago with a little improvement any suggestions as having seriouscc effect on wife who now has no energy to cope

Good news is my toe isnt fractured but acutely inflamed so rest and ibuprofen was recommended. Im using the gel and its improved already. Feel so relieved that its not a break!. Thank you all for your wonderful support and suggestions. Keep safe and as well as possible. Xx
