Can I just ask your advice what to do

I had steroid injection last Thursday and started back on mtx 20mg yesterday, I’m in so much pain , does anyone know if I could pop

A couple of ibuprofen

I thought I’d check on here as some rheumys have different opinions ... I think steroid injection is working a little because since Thursday I haven’t taken any painkillers but today I’m in pain but didn’t want to cancel out anything I’ve done in the last week .... it’s like being stuck in the middle 😩

It’s a royal pain in the 🤬we all get different answers from our team. I find steroids start working properly after 7 days. What works one day doesn’t the next. Could ask your local pharmacist or nras. Hope things settle x

I've taken ibuprofen and paracetamol after having a steroid injection - never thought to ask tbh but probably should have! Mind you, all my rheumy nurses have encouraged me to take them.

I hope the injection works. It’s so miserable when nothing brings relief. x

Thankyou ... brings ya down 😩 but I do think there are people worse off than me ... well atm I don’t 😂

My rheumy defo told me to continue with the pain relief of paracetamol / ibuprofen. Of course check with yours or chemist x
