I'm looking at FIR--Far InfraRed saunas. The ads say it removes toxins through sweat. The cheapest I've seen is about $3k. Anyone using sauna and seeing benefits? The ache in my shoulder is constant and I'm using tylenol plus ibuprofen to dampen it.

Have you tried A535 rub? Or Magnesium Oil to see if it is not a cramp cause?
Nice aren't they? No use, just seen and drooled at them but no power here at the lake. Just us and the buffle heads that should be a lot further S by now
I have read that it important to make sure you are buying one where the quality is high enough that the materials aren’t off gassing and that there isnt radiation coming from the wiring. I think the cedar ones are recommended as they don’t have coatings on the wood.
That was recommended to me by my functional med dr. I did the cedar one for a few weeks, then discovered the cocoon type pod. It was better in that the head sticks out of it so I avoid the dizzy overheating feeling in my head. Also easier to keep sterile. It does make me feel relaxed and refreshed, not sure about any other benefits, but I have to say I do miss it since covid interrupted my treatments.
Good Morning!I would love to have an IR sauna! They are great for detoxing but I don’t know about the shoulder pain. If it’s toxin related it just might help. I would advise you not to go with a cheap sauna, you need one that is high quality, for a variety of reasons. Like anything else you get what you pay for.
Clear light and Sunlighten are 2 good ones, there are others but can’t remember the names. Do your research so you don’t regret the investment.
