whiplash pain and interferon
It’s arrived with considerable pain ( like really severe toothache up left hand side of neck into head and shoulder blade and down arm)
ibuprofen
and paracetamol don’t touch the pain and I can’t take codeine ( it’s a histamine liberator) wondering if a nerve blocker like Pregabalin might help short

Meloxicam -any positive experiences?
I’ve never had anything effective for pain - everything apart from
Ibuprofen
turns me into a constipated zombie and I can’t function. For the first time the consultant has suggested Meloxicam and I’m wondering if anyone has had good experience on it.

High Gamma GT results due to medication?
The month before the test I was suffering from a covid-like bug (I tested negative 3 times) and was taking paracetamol each day, and the week before trapped a nerve in my neck so was taking
ibuprofen
and then naproxen. My question is: could this have given me the high gamma GT results?

I just found out the cause of my autoimmune chronic pancreatitis and it’s not good. I have Sjögren’s syndrome.
They suggest you take
ibuprofen
with Sjogren’s and I can’t so I take it due to bleeding issues so I take cranberry extract and it works somewhat for the inflammation and I’m not as tired. I take 500 mg. 3 x a day.

Anyone here with cervical arthritis?
I don't want
ibuprofen
, Tylenol isn't working and I'm allergic to sulfa drugs; I'm kinda concerned about all the drugs, but need something to help so I can continue to work.

Am I right to suspect endometriosis and ask to see a private specialist?
Mefenamic acid didn’t really do anything, neither did
ibuprofen
or paracetamol. I get period pain also that starts in my tummy and then goes all down both legs though sometimes does it more in my left leg and mum said that’s normal for periods pain.

So now until that happens I’m on
ibuprofen

is everyone else not getting diagnosed or much treatment?
I have tried paracetamol and
ibuprofen
in the pad which did nothing. I took naproxen 500mg which used to completely block my pain but now only stops it being severe. More recently I’ve been given co codamol (the lowest dose) and mefenamic acid 500mg but both didn’t do anything.

Pericarditis
I can't take
Ibuprofen
due to Kidney Disease. I am a reasonably fit 76 year old , play golf 2-3 times a week, don't smoke, little alcohol. My first episode with chest pains came on suddenly out of the blue in December 2023, phoned 111 and was told to go straight to A & E.

Alternative to ibuprofen
I'm 6 months post sct but my platelets are taking a long time to recover( only c40) so I'm not allowed
ibuprofen
or aspirin. I use paracetamol for most pain however I sometimes get muscle spasms in my neck/shoulder which I found
ibuprofen
treated.

”roaring” tinnitus and “echoing” ears, signs of a flare?
Ibuprofen
alleviates some pain, the tendon pain not so much. I have been diagnosed with a torn shoulder tendon . When I missed a pred dose last week I took 5 mg more for only a day and had a lot less pain everywhere.

night time pain
The only reliable way I can get a decent Sleep is to take codeine
ibuprofen
painkillers. I do this only a couple of times a week because I don’t want to develop a dependency on them. However, they do work. Grateful for any advice, help et cetera. Many thanks, Paul
