18months after FLAIR trial and hip arthritis looms....
Paracetamol and
Ibuprofen
normally recommended and both together just about mask it. However Ibruprofen not advised with CLL....due to risk of stomach bleeding. For now my platelets are normal but I need to anticipate how to manage this....and what comes first more treatment or hip replacement....

PMR or Fibromyalgia?
(
Ibuprofen
gel, codeine, amitriptyline, nortriptyline). I haven't had my CRP/ESR levels checked but I'm aware that these may not be elevated with PMR anyway. I really, really don't want to increase the pred.

Even more unfortunately, I suffer from Costochondritis as a result of my asthma and that has decided to flare too and I am unable to take
Ibuprofen
and am also allergic to codeine - so if anyone has any advice on this it'd be great!

Very Irritated pain umbilical hernia
I've been taking
ibuprofen
for it. When I was diagnose the doctor told me it was a small hernia so there was no reason to do anything. Anyone knows the name of the doctors that take care of this condition?

Post Total Thyroidectomy
I have to overdose on
ibuprofen
and paracetamol just to get some relief. I also sometimes feel opiate high with some headaches like my endorphins are out of whack! Plus I notice I still have a fast heartbeat when I'm not exerting myself.

All I have to a hot water bottle and
ibuprofen
when my bloating flares up. I only found out recently that my gynaecologist wasn’t a specialist...iv found and been referred to a endo unit for the 7th of February, so I’m hoping I get listened to and get help!

Brass Monkey Half Marathon...
At around six miles, I could feel a slight twinge in my left hip but I took a couple of
ibuprofen
and resolved to get through it. A couple of miles later, the pain had gone completely.

Is afib caused by ibuprofen reversible?
So I just recalled that I took a pill of high dose prescription
ibuprofen
the day I had my first afib episode. It is not clear if
ibuprofen
caused my afib, but if that’s the case, is it reversible?

when on synarel? My clinic is closed for christmas holidays so haven't been able to ask them. I start stimulation injections 10th January.

Neck pain
things like take a break every hour for 5 mins, neck exercises daily, make my bag less heavy, bought new mattress & pillows but still wake up in pain so am therefore forced to use a TENS machine which does ease the pain - had physio in the past which did nothing, have changed my posture stance, took

I’m on beta blockers and
ibuprofen
. I keep getting aches still in my chest area, nothing really severe like when I was diagnosed but they are uncomfortable. Is this common? I’m so paranoid and anxious that something terrible is going to happen to me!

Abnormal liver test results
Do take
ibuprofen
sometimes for headaches and stuff. Not more than about 20 tablets in a year. Just before the test I had gone to Cancun for about a week. Ate a lot. Didn’t drink except for a glass of champagne just for celebration.

Flu like symptoms and pain
He's taken paracetamol and
ibuprofen
and neither are making a difference. He's tried hot and cold compress and having a hot shower. He seems to be getting worse. He won't let me ring NHS direct.
