Follow on from my previous post about not relying on Drs and diagnosis’s and suppressing your own endo!
Once again I will be in the hands of 3 surgeons, I am having a total
hysterectomy
, both ovaries gone, part of my bowel, my one and only fallopian, cervix, possibly part of my vagina, I will be left with stents in both kidneys but first they will have to separate all my organs, remove thick dense adhesions

Starting the endo diagnosis journey but I'm still not sure...
My mum also suffered with extremely heavy periods and had a
hysterectomy
at 33. My symptoms are all over the place and this had left me doubtful about my suspected diagnosis. I'm now on the waiting list for a laparoscopy to see if I actually do have endometriosis.

Having ovaries removed
Hi all, I wondered if anyone hear had a
hysterectomy
but kept their ovaries and then had their ovaries removed at a later date? I'm wondering what the difference was in the pain levels once they were removed. Was it worth it? Pros and cons etc Thanks xx

Could this be Lupus? A very long journey...
I have since had a
hysterectomy
and oophorectomy. But since trialing HRT multiple times, I've reacted terribly and had major flareups which can last for weeks. On the note of flare ups, they can be 2 days or 6 months.

Hysterectomy without adenomyosis or fibroids?
Hi all, Is there anyone out there who has had (or is planning) a
hysterectomy
for endometriosis, without a confirmed diagnosis of adenomyosis, fibroids or heavy bleeding? What symptoms ultimately influenced your decision to have
hysterectomy
, and how are you going now?

Abdominal cramping
I am now six weeks post
hysterectomy
, heading for staging surgery next week after the discovery of ovarian cancer in addition to the endometrial cancer. For the last week I have been struggling with awful stomach cramps pretty much constantly.

Date for surgery finally!!
Looking like full
hysterectomy
for me. Swollen tubes, cysts on both ovaries and apparently have to have appendix removed also, something to do with it sticking to uterus god knows! Terrified but also looking forward to not feeling like I've been hit by a truck 24/7.

Nausea, back pain and more pain. Thanks endo!
Waiting for
hysterectomy
, yay 😢. Well nothing is helping and I've just seen the GP who told me to take paracetamol as there is nothing else I can take (can't take co-codamol,makes me sick). Oh and I also just did a wee sample and it turns out I have red and white blood cells in there.

Zoladex and mirena removal - blood loss?
Due to this, my gynae and I are considering total
hysterectomy
. As I am young, he has put me on zoladex with tibalone to see how my body copes with the HRT as I will need to take this for a prolonged period of time.

Full Hysterectomy with Ovary Removal and Stoma
After numerous scans, laparoscopy, MRI and sigmoidoscopy, the option suggested is a full
hysterectomy
with ovary removal and sigmoid colon resection due to scar tissue thickening a portion of it.

Why am I getting burning abdo pain nearly 12 months post surgery for ovarian cancer ( hysterectomy, omentum,BSO and node removal
I am 12 months post surgery and completed chemo for bilateral ovarian cancer. It was stage 1 C. This pain was present immediately post op and improved but now has recurred. It’s an odd burning pain. Is this common and if so what causes it and what can I do to treat it?

Good news stories
A major op at Christies, cytoreductive surgery,
hysterectomy
, omentum removal and heated chemo washed through it was found I had ovarian cancer, grade 3c , this was after the histology following the operation.

Ovarian cancer metastasis to liver.
Initially she had 6 cycles of chemo and the they did
hysterectomy
and omentectomy . Doctor said it’s not spread to the intestines which is a great news. And we were happy that mom would be fine. But after 6 months she had terrible abdominal pain and she had her ct scan.

Has anyone suffered with pain after hysterectomy and ovaries removed?
I had a total
hysterectomy
in July 2018, left ovaries in due to age. After 3 months the pain was back, so in November 2019 had returned endo removed plus both ovaries. Given Tibolone for menopause and only suffered with hot flushes.

Any experiences of full or partial hysterectomy?
Hi all I’m new to the forum and wondered if there’s anyone who has had a full or partial
hysterectomy
who is open to sharing their experiences? I’ve had endometriosis for the past 20 years and have had two previous surgeries.
