Hello Ladies I hope your all keeping strong. I finally got to see my consultant yesterday woohoo and he has put me on the waiting list for hysterectomy either full or partial depending on how i get on with Prostap and put on HRT for next 3 months. Do any of you have any advice and tips regarding the HRT as I'm nervous to try it ? I've already been on Prostap in Dec so I know I get hot flushes and headaches but can put up that because it help the endos/adenomyosis . Sorry everyone I'm not good at spelling . Any help would be greatly appreciated xx

Sent you a reply to your message ☺️😘
I am on HRT as currently on months 3 of decepeptyl injections. Also got HRT patches 2 weeks ago. No more night sweats, some hot flushes but not as bad as before. I would definitely recommend HRT, have a look at the “Balance” app by Dr Louise Newson, there is a chat forum on there too as well as lots of information if you have endometriosis x
Thank you so much I will have a look at that as I don't know much about HRT, It's good to hear your doing well on both 😀 xx
Hi Bubbles,I had my full hysterectomy in February. I feel absolutely fantastic its the best thing thats ever happened to me. Im not on any medication, HRT as im 53 i think I had nearly gone through the change. Im Having hot flushes and insomnia but i can cope with all that especially what i had to go through, suffering with endometriosis and Adenomyosis for years. It will change your life ive never been so happy and healthier no pains no bleeding out constantly. Make sure you rest no lifting pulling give your body time to heal inside and out. Good luck x
Thank you for your reply I appreciate that, Oh that's fantastic news you are feeling pain free so happy for you. I need to stop thinking of the what ifs and be brave and get on with it, May I ask did you have a vaginal hysterectomy if so how painfull was it down there im super scared 😱 ( I hope they give me lots of pain relief xx
Hi, i had key hole surgery, uterus removal through virgina. Its not painful down there at all a tiny bit sore where they removed my cervix but apart from that i was fine. My belly button was painful for months only just feeling better. I couldn't wear my jeans I've been in leggings for a while, you don't want any thing tight around your waist, Try and Wear lose clothing. I didn't have morphine after my operation only paracetamol 8 do have a high pain threshold after suffering with Endometriosis for years. Morphine does makes me feel sick anyway. was literally up on my feet the next day showered myself was discharged the next afternoon 24 hrs after op. Please take it easy at home don't push yourself listen to your body my insides have taken longer to heal. Good luck, please don't worry, it will be all fine you will be a new woman afterwards x
Hi Thank you for your lovely reply so glad it wasn't painful on the most seneative area 😌, I have got 6 months to wait but little things keep popping up in my head so i thought i'd ask instead of worrying lol. It will be so brilliant to not have any pain there anymore xx
