Cetrotide injections - any tips to prevent the stinging sensation?
I am on day 9 of Ovaleap injections and day 2 of cetrotide on a short protocol IVF. I have found Ovaleap to be reasonably painless and easy to inject. The cetrotide however, was really painful yesterday when I injected it for the first time. Does anyone have any advice or top tips for injecting cetrotide

Tirosint 50 microgrammi/1 ml a day
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed in 2018 with Hypothyroid Hashimoto and have been taking 50 microgrammi a day. Last week I did my blood test and my TSH is high 5.56. I will have to go to my endocrinologist and see what she will do. I feel very anxious and jittery. Is this normal?

06/05/2021 - Acupuncture Points For Eyes
My good friend came to know that I have dry eye issue and worry about retinal detachment, she sent over below acupuncture points for eyes and advised me to follow hoping that this will help the condition of my eyes. She emphasized that it is very important to apply some pressure on each point. Since

SLE & 🦷
I am absolutely devastated this morning. My tooth crumbled when I was eating brown bread. I’ve had 2 dental abscesses in 4 months. I look after my teeth. I lost 2 teeth years ago (I didn’t know I had SLE) and was fobbed off by dentist as it must be my poor dental hygiene. Now I’m here again. I feel

I feel like I was hit in the eye. My eye feels big in the socket and hurts to move and my head hurts right next to my eye. Can ON give you head pain too? I sent a message off to my doctor but he is out for a while.

Progynova AND Lubion for FET anyone?
Hey guys so as you may know from my previous post that I had 1 failed fresh transfer, 1 failed frozen transfer, and 1 cancelled transfer due to me developing OHSS. So a year later (after losing 27kg in weight too) I’ve started treatment for an FET. I’m with Leeds fertility and a private patient. So

Dry eyes
I have suffered dry eyes for over 40 years. All was fine until last summer when I started having problems again. I contacted my GP who told me to go to my optician. The optician told me if I didn't take more care of my eyes I would suffer with corneal scarring and other problems. He told me to research

Hopefully no more injections 😃
So 12 months ago I was referred to Opthalmology after an opticians appointment and had a macular oedema in my left eye. I saw a consultant and he said brvo. After a short time I started receiving lucentis injections. I dreaded these as always had such bad after effects. I would be climbing the walls

Anyone experiencing sore, swollen eyes?
Hi everyone, I’ve been diagnosed with seronegative RA and for the last year I’ve been getting red soreness and swelling around my eyes. I’m trying biologics (Cimzia didn’t work, now 10 weeks into Amgevita with no great relief). I’ve been given a few month-long courses of Prednisolone to manage flares

Postitive or negative? Did it help or hurt? I am new to this community but trying to find some answers about how I should proceed. Rapid aging of facial skin with Pegasys?
I am almost embarrassed to ask this but here goes. Since starting on Pegasys (have had 9th injection today given every 2 weeks 45mg until today upped to 67.5ish) I have noted my eyelid skin drooping over my eye to the point that it almost obscures full vision, my cheeks have sunken without weight loss

Blurry vision
Hi everyone! I am at work right now and my vision keeps going blurry. I was very upset this morning due to teenager drama so I am not sure if it’s related. I have never had optic neuritis so not sure what it feels/looks like. I’m on the computer all day and the words keep going blurry and then are

Treatment end
So yesterday was advised that scan shows progression in the lung and a liver met. Treatment is not helping so discontinued. Carry on now with palliative care. In some ways I’m relieved but also feeling a bit lost.
