Hey guys so as you may know from my previous post that I had 1 failed fresh transfer, 1 failed frozen transfer, and 1 cancelled transfer due to me developing OHSS. So a year later (after losing 27kg in weight too) I’ve started treatment for an FET. I’m with Leeds fertility and a private patient.
So this round has been slightly different, I started by injecting Prostap on the day I got my period. That wreaked havoc on me mentally and just feeling tired and miserable in general. I went in for my pre stim scan about 12 days later and they said it was all good the injection has done what it should. I then started taking Progynova 6mg a day so that’s 3 tablets every day for a week. Then went up to 4 tablets a day and then a week later went for my day 12 scan and they said my lining is 12.8mm ....the consultant was not very engaging so I don’t know...is that a good thickness for the lining at this stage??? Anyway I’ve now added Lubion injections to the mix. 1 injection 25mg to be taken twice a day as well as the 8mg progynova (4 tablets). I’ve been given a transfer date for 5th May.
I guess my main question is, is that thickness of my lining a good size? And has anyone been on the same medication as I am and had success stories? I’ve never been on this medication cycle so I just don’t know. Also Lubion makes me super nauseous straight after injecting it! 🤮
