But my iron and
haemoglobin
levels are low and have to get some units of blood on Thursday. Well either be admitted as an in-patient or come back in. The hospital must do some more blood tests and blood matches also......is there no end to this disease.

Anemia after transplant
My
haemoglobin
level has been coming up low every blood test. I have had about 3 blood tests over 3 weeks and the readings have been getting more and more lower. One of them had quite a significant drop within 4 days. I just received a call from the GP to discuss with doctor regarding anemia.

First Rheumy Appointment on Tuesday
However the GP was very concerned that my
haemoglobin
had dropped to 10.8 and it should be 13 and prescribed 600mg of ferrous sulfate which seems to have slightly improved my shoulders.

My
haemoglobin
was normal reading ( 143 g/l ). So my red cells carrying oxygen are fine. My white cell and platelet count were normal also. The good thing is my baseline clotting studies were normal too. Lastly my Kidney, thyroid, calcium and thyroid tests were all normal.

Could I be deficient in b12 or folate?? Bad hairloss!
I've had more results back my total white cell count - is 3.9/l on a reference 4.00- 11.00 And mean corpus
haemoglobin
(MCH) 32.6 pg on reference 27 - 32 I read low white and high MCH can indicate b12 or folate deficiency. In losing hair and have terrible brain fog and memory loss!!
