Low haemoglobin/ bacteria infection
Her
haemoglobin
has remained low and is slightly anaemic, which again is common. Following chemo, can you take iron supplements? Anything she can have to boost her levels. Anyone else been through this? Any advice? My mum is just so low at the moment.

Ferritin and Haemoglobin levels
His
haemoglobin
levels are down to 68 (or is it 6.8 in the US?) but it’s just been discovered, having had his iron checked for the first time, that his ferritin is 3000!

haemoglobin values.
My
haemoglobin
level is always around 103 and ferrous normal. it is always considered to be expected in view of my B12 deficiency. Therefore acceptable. Do others have this problem. I feel it causes me tiredness and lack of energy.

Low haemoglobin and Edoxaban
My
haemoglobin
levels have gone low does anyone have any knowledge if this is due to Edoxaban blood thinners. Is there an alternative to Edoxaban. I’ve had 4 episodes of AF over the past 2 years lasting about 5 hours. thanks Joan United Kingdom

niraparib
Her
haemoglobin
is very low. She has had one blood transfusion (2 units) four weeks ago and halved her Niraparib from 200 to 100. Her bloods are still showing low
haemoglobin
and she is having to have another blood transfusion.

🎄Happy Christmas every body and a healthier new year. 🎄 I have had pernicious anaemia for over 40 years now. My HB is never more than 9.7. And my other red blood cell results are always slightly abnormal .. The GPs always seem to consider this is to be expected as I have PA. Is this acceptable

High haemoglobin mystery - any connection with my T3?
So I then googled 'high
haemoglobin
' and 'thyroid' and it seems that having an overactive thyroid can cause this. Of course the NHS would believe that I did have this as my TSH has been below range ever since I went on T3 so many years back.
