Help, where do I start??? My doctor just throws yet another pill at me. There has to be a common connection to all of these maladies. Anyone have a suggestion.

A funny old week, but now officially a runner
Completed my third week 6 run this morning and ran 25 minutes, ended on a high and with a lump in my throat as Laura said I am a runner. This week was the one that I really questioned whether I would be able to keep it up, but then a trip to the docs kicked me into touch, as he says I have high cholesterol

Type 2 diabetes risk may be influenced by blood type
Some risk factors for type 2 diabetes - such as obesity and family history of the condition - are well established. But in a new study, researchers from France explore the possibility that a person's risk of developing type 2 diabetes may be influenced by their blood type. http://www.medicalnewstoday.com

Betaine HCL
Good morning, I have been taking the above, 600 mg betaine, 60mg pepsin as I suspected low stomach acid. I am up to 7 tablets with each meal with no warm sensation in my stomach as described on numerous websites. Is this normal and how far do I go? Any advice or insight would be appreciated.

Two years and six months of progress
I joined this group in great anticipation of losing a lot of weight as a new year's resolution in 2014. I weighed in at 145kg (nearly 23 stone!) and about as unfit as I've ever been. Joined the C25K at the same time with a great show of enthusiasm and guess what? Didn't run and didn't lose weight.
