Type 2 diabetes risk may be influenced by blood type

Some risk factors for type 2 diabetes - such as obesity and family history of the condition - are well established. But in a new study, researchers from France explore the possibility that a person's risk of developing type 2 diabetes may be influenced by their blood type.

  • Yup, everything but their High Carb Low Fat dietary recommendations from USDA & Co are responsible. Carb consumption in America has gone up by ~68% and fat down by 40 odd percent points, since the 70's. Does that hold some clue?

    Saw some post where now light is also blamed :)
