Welcome to the group. Have you talked to your Endocrinologist about the issue of a diet chart/change? What has he:she said?
Please feel free to check out the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation's website. You can download the free leaflets on A Healthy Diet and Diabetes and/or Exercise and Diabetes . You can also listen to either leaflet. Go to:
Hope this helps.
Check out the diabetes.org.uk website and Facebook page. Keep an eye on your carb intake and speak to your own diabetic team. Also look on xperthealth.org.uk for details of their courses.
If you are outside the UK check if you have similar organisations where you are but always speak to your diabetic team first.
Hi there I'm interested to know my diet what to eat what I must not eat and drink juice or what I need explanation
Have you talked with your doctor about going on a diet? What did they say?
They said to me I must see the nutritional digestive doctor since last week
Are you type 1 or 2? All diets are different for all diabetics.
They took last week blood they gonna do some tests
They identify early this month that I'm diabetic sugar they said to me I must buy pills glucophage now I'm using it now take one ina day for six month
Pills may mean you might be type 2, so exercise and diet might work for you. You can take a look at the Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation's website for the free leaflets. You can download/read/listen to them at: drwf.org.uk/diabetes-leaflets
The leaflets are: " A Healthy Diet and Diabetes". Or " Exercise and Diabetes". Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, feel free to go ahead and ask anytime.
