LCHF diet vs. BP and Cholesterol
I am 53 years Male 68Kg . was diagnosed T2 diabetes in June-16 and on Glucophage 850 once+Galvusmet 50mg morning and evening. Effective Oct-16 Quit medicine and switched to 100% LCHF diet. Now My FBS and PBS range is 80-90.Lost some weight also. In the process, my LIPID- LDL level hit very high 220.

I have just been to see my GP after suffering from a urine infection. She has said that the infection is still there and also there is +4 sugar in my urine. I am a type 1 diabetic. Would this mean that ketones are present in my urine?

Low apetite and increase in weight
I am a 53 years old diabetic since last 18 years. I take insulin Human Atrapid 10-10-5 and Lentus in night 12 units since last two years. My Hb1AC as 7.00 when I last tested 4 months back and it was 6.3 before 7-8 months. My weight is increasing since I have started Human Atrapid insulin 2 years back

Hi, I have been newly diagnosed with Diabetes Type II and was given a prescription for Gluconorm. I don't like medicine as I am already of pills for Hypertension and Cholesterol. My wife is in the starting stage of Diabetics(before 3 months). She doesnot want to go for allopathic medication and can we have a suggestion either how to control through disciplined food habits or with homoeopathic permanant cure(as I heard from my collegues). Please advise.

Borderline results. Can I do anything to stop underactive thyroid?
