NHS pension appeal
I was turned down for my NHS pension in December. I intend to appeal, but I am worried that I may get turned down again. Since my first application I have had CBT, physio for osteoarthritis, tried most pain killers available to me (I have stage 4 kidney disease so are unable to use many of the drugs

Alternatives to pills
Has anyone any suggestions to smooth pain of polyarthritis without so many pain killers? I use heat bags and I've tried a Tens machine but that didn't help much. Exercise is agony!

Hi all, I have been on Humeria for 8 weeks now, the injecting is easy enough and I have no problems. I am in so much pain and the fatigue is unreal! I rang my rumey nurse a few weeks back and was told I cannot have any steroids until I have seen her and that is 11th November. I am taking the maximum

AFib meds and painkillers
Been doing fine on daily 10mg Bisoprolol and 2 x flecainide for six years. Recently started taking Naproxen and Cocodamol for arthritic pain and notice very low heart rate (42) and slight AFib feeling in the evening. Anyone else noticed this is they take painkillers?

Miniscus pain
I paid to have my miniscus tear repaired as I’d been suffering with it for 10 months and getting nowhere with my gp except for him doling out painkillers. The surgery was two weeks ago and things seem better so far. About 3 weeks before my op my other knee was getting increasingly painful and I’m sure

Recovery from laparoscopy
Hiya. I had my lap on Tuesday afternoon. I’m still heavily reliable on painkillers. I’m now on antibiotics for my throat too. I can’t sleep ok my side. I can get up and have small walks but I’m still in so much pain. How long did it take anyone else? I know it’s only day 4 post surgery but I don’t cope

Fed up/ angry 😡
So had my post op appointment today with my surgeon , who carried out my laparoscopy 3 months ago.. I tried to ask questions.. like why is my pain worse now than it was prior my op? .. his response was 'well I removed the Endo so you shouldn't be in pain' .. I then went on to express that I have to take

Sorry folks big frustrated rant coming up !
Think the topic kind of sums it up. I will try not to swear but my frustration is just so over the top today after a series of phone calls and ‘live chat’ with sciensus and also biologics nurse I just have to let off some steam with people I know understand. So very shortened version of what’s been
