Hi all Cab you help me out please? My brother is absolutely convinced that something I'm eating, if not the cause of the PMR, is certainly making it worse. I'm happy he is interested but I'm slightly less convinced than him. I barely drink alcohol as that causes more pain. I eat in a low carb way as

Latest results after feeling awful on increased levothyroxine
I’ve been cleaning up my
diet
since December and I’ve been strictly
gluten
free
since Feb. I started taking probiotics a couple of weeks ago, on the advice of my functional doctor. Tests were all done at about 9.30am after no food and only water to drink.

Low FT3 Low FT4 with T3/4 treatment, what is going on?
- I am
gluten
and dairy
free
, and since 4 weeks am following an autoimmune
diet
- Since 16 months or so, I have started running and then daily Yoga. Running is super slow Japanese jogging, which keeps heart rate down, and advice is to run at a speed where one can still have a conversation.

Happy New Year everyone. My daily task is to read the latest posts, and I learn so much from them, this forum is invaluable to me. And I thank you all for that. You may recall I have no faith in my rheumatologist, who thinks because my bloods are normal, that I shouldn't have symptoms return after

The thing is that I struggle not to increase

Mediterranean Diet carbs..
Hey there so I am new to all of this and have been just reading and researching lately to help myself and this affliction. I have read multiple posts about people recommending the Mediterranean diet but I thought a low carb diet was more beneficial for ARFLD.

Update on tapering, plantar fasciitis and kefir.
Following the helpful advice from DL , PMR Pro and others 4 mths ago I increased my pred to 11mg per day in early September for 1 week, then dropped to10mg for 1 week and 9mg for 2 weeks and finally back to 8.5mg, the dose I had been comfortable on. I was doing well but plantar fasciitis kicked in.

Help and advice please.
My daughter was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis last year. We have only recently realised how serious this could be as we were given no advice or information at all. She has had a couple of really bad flare ups due to taking headache medication which we have since discovered were the cause of the flare

3 Year old Gluten Free Diet?
I had a telephone consultation with the nurse on Friday about my sons Tummy problems. Bloated. Foul smelling stools. He is always telling me his tummy hurts, he wakes in the night crying about his tummy. We have kept a food diary - wheat based products do seem to be the culprit. He is also very tired
