Nocturnal Migranes
Hi Everyone, I know many of us suffer from severe headaches, but just wondered if any of you routinely suffer from them from late evening into the night? I have developed a horrific routine of feeling the pain coming through from about 8pm every night and by 10.30-11 I am in agony, can't see straight

Down regging
I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I've just started my first ivf cycle and I'm filling in my journal. I've got to the part that says about down regging (usually Buserelin) but I can't find this medication in my plan. This is medication plan I have had put together 1/9 - 21/9 Microgynon (the pill

It’s over for us this time
Hi fellow warriors Thanks again for all your support over the last few weeks. It really has made a difference in this journey when I was losing hope so thank you. 💛 I’m very sad to say the embryologist called to say our embryo hadn’t grown any more and they were still cells so hadn’t reached the

After such a long time ...
After such a long time I wanted to share with you my beautiful boy to be born. He is 27 weeks. I always questioned whether posting these kind of images gave other women hope and I can only say what I would feel which is hope that it can happen. Arthritis in hands side effect
Do any of you have any experience with arthritis in your hands as side effect of bicultamide or eligard, which I've been on for 5 months and began experiencing pain in fingers and palm of hand. Can't make a fist anymore. Any advice on how to lessen the condition? Thanks so much for any insight!

NHS rapid policy statement on Tocilizumab for GCA during the Covid-19 pandemic
Hello everyone, and I hope you are all staying safe ( and sane) in these scary times. Forgive me if someone has already brought this to people’s attention, but I only just came across this important statement put out by the NHS which most certainly affects me, and could affect other GCA sufferers who

Needle shortage?
I have seen a lot of posts lately about needles and thought that I should let you all know that here in the US there has been talk of a possible needle shortage due to the massive need for them for the (possible) virus vaccine. I don't know if that would apply to the UK but just a heads up. My husband

Advice - only two good sized follicles (five overall)
Hi fellow IVF warriors Just come back from my day 12 scan and feel a bit devastated to be honest. We have got two follicles which measure 14mm+ but the other three are pretty small with only one looking like it might get bigger. Going to carry on for two more days and see what is happening before we

New to IVF
I started this thread because I am 44 and TTC with IVF for the first time. DH and I have suffered 5 miscarriages in 5 years. Now hopeful with IVF. Had 3 follicles seen in ultrasound today. Starting Gonal F injections today. Anyone else going through this?

EASY EXERCISES FOR TIGHT MUSCLES IN THE NECK AND OTHER PLACES
Having real issues with neck rigidity so want to share some great help I just found on the web. The rigidity was causing my neck to crack while OFF and thought I needed a chiropractor but it was muscles pulling on my neck bones. 😲 Some great exercises for PD/dystonia on YouTube called Smart XPD. Emotional response to gonal f injection on day 1
I did my first gonal f 225 injection today. Before this I had provera to bring my period on. It’s my first cycle of ivf though I’ve slowly been moving my way through fertility treatments. This is the first time I’ve taken such a huge dose of gonal f. I was fine but a few hours later I felt dizzy, nauseous

The Salt Room ...
Hi Everyone, thought I would tell you about what has happened to me over the last couple of days. I have been travelling quite well on 6 mgs of pred and tocilizumab jabs weekly and some girlfriends invited me to come along with them to “The Salt Room”. It sounded fab, described as a cure for all sorts
