Illness & getting back to C25k

I finished w7r3 on 27/12, but since then I have had a horrible old fashioned cold. I reckon it will be at least another week or two before I will be able to attempt to run again as it is really clinging on (did have a covid test just in case). When I am better, should I repeat some of the weeks? Not sure how quickly you loose your fitness not having done this before.

Get well soon.

As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.

After that loss of condition is gradual.

All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out and see what we can comfortably manage, then build back up gently, using C25k or something similar as a guide to weekly increase.

Not what you're looking for?
