No scales
I have also signed up to a charity
fitness
challenge for 30 days and am aiming to walk the LEJOG (virtually of course) which is a challenge over the year. I was wondering do I have to weigh each week or is there an area for those to post for support with no scales?

Gyms shutting yet again
I’ll try the outside running again during closure to keep my
fitness
up. Hope the weather is decent for all your runs. Merry Christmas everyone! 🎄🥂

High intensity interval training (HIIT)
I notice that short bursts of intense activity (of as little as 20 seconds) can help with
fitness
, weight loss etc. I have used the approach advocated by Michael Mosely, but that was pre-HA over a year ago.

Ra223 Xofigo and Cabazataxel compared
I have no Pca symptoms, but want to zap all bone mets if possible, or extend my life and it seems Ra223 would have less side effects than chemo, and because I have maintained excellent health and
fitness
since 2006 before diagnosis, I may withstand side effects of Ra223 better than most who may have

Asaaaaaaagh so I had to jog on the spot indoors yesterday, I don’t want to lose the

I’ve achieved over this period in time.

Two years on
In addition to the weight loss and the improvement in my overall
fitness
, my mental health has, despite the uncertainties of the world we live in, been boosted to the point that I have been ant-depressant free for 9 months, having previously been on them since 2004.

CR1 bit of a disaster!
Happy I did something but ya... not counting this as a consolidation run, but have an irrational thought that if I were to not run until Monday i will lose the tiny bit of
fitness
, I’ve gained completing c25k. Hope you all faired better today x

Slip sliding awaaaaaay.....
So it seems that I haven't lost as much
fitness
as I feared! What sort of gloves do others wear at the moment? My fingers just never warmed up the whole run and they were sore by the time I got into the warmth. I was wearing fleece gloves. Too thin, obviously?

Thank you for all the inspiration ...
Despite various lockdowns, my private life has become quite busy and exciting, all due to the wonderful world of all things running and
fitness
. But at some point I should stop signing up to these events, right?

Not a natural runner... What speed?
., so underlying
fitness
is there. Being big, always hated running.. Just completed week 4 of C25K pretty easily (I've been adding an extra interval on the end) but wondering if my pace is right... Week 5 is getting serious... I've been walking at 5.5km/h and jogging at 9.

I ended up in ICU for 90 days - it has taken me for ever to recover my

Work overload reduces your level of
fitness
, messes up your routine, and impacts negatively on your mind and the body. There aren't many positives to overworking yourself.

My watch just loves me today, I have a
fitness
age of 20 (I’ve never seen that before!) which, of course, is ludicrous, but I have to post it for nowster 😉. Coffee followed by porridge ☕️ 🥣 and a good start to the day 😊

Hey guys... I’m 34, m and I have lost 284 lbs naturally over the last 4 years. I have had abdominoplasty and am looking for some feedback on my other areas on my body... specifically chest, back and thighs. I would love to chat with someone around my age “ish” who has some knowledge, insight or personal

Back to square one, I miss ndt so much..
has dropped to what feels like that of a 70 year old that's smoked 60 fags per day for most of their life even though I've tried to keep up with my usual
fitness
training.

Back from the wilderness
It was not easy in the way that running has become easier as I got more experienced, but I ran for half an hour, just short of 4k and I realised that I had not lost all my
fitness
after all. Amazingly I can still run!
