Fibrosis diagnosis
Hi everyone, I’ve just had a fibroscan, and told I have scaring of my liver, my consultation was surprised as my bloods were all normal so he did it twice, first time the score was 9, second time 7.5. I’ve no fatty liver. He said as I hadn’t had a drink recently it could have been worse. He said that

Hysterectomy and ovary removal plus excision of endometriosis- recovery tips please!!!
Hello all ❤ I had my surgery on Thursday. Does anyone have any advice to help me recover fully and well? (I'm already using estrogen patches and gel so I don't get a hormone deficiency). Endo was in uterus, ovaries and pelvis, plus on bowel. It's been a huge 23 slog, taking 20 years to get an endo diagnosis

anyone else with a bicornuate uterus?
I had another ultrasound scan the other day, and the lady also did an internal scan as she had the time and told me there and then that I had a bicornuate uterus, but that's all she could really tell me. Still on the path to diagnose endo, hoping they won't just use the shape as the reason for all my

Pleura effusion
Morning all, I’ve got a pleural effusion on my right lung. It was partially drained on Thursday via pleura tap and I’ll go again Monday to drain more. In a week or so I’m due to start weekly taxol with bevacizumab every 2 weeks. Has anyone had a similar issue? Did the chemo slow down/stop the effusion

Anxiety
So I’m just sitting here tying to build up the courage to call my IVF clinic to book in for my nurse planning appointment. I am absolutely scared, we lost our embaby at some point after our transfer in August and it absolutely broke me, it is still affecting me now and was the furthest we ever got to

4DB frozen embryo success stories?
Hi all, is a 4DB embryo going to ever make it? That D is playing on my mind it’s the ICM/inner mass cells, D looks like it has super low cells. This will be our third transfer of this grade, 1 MMC, 1 BFN. FET is next week but I’m so worried these embryos are not god enough. I have 2 this grade and

So fed up
Biopsy showed up both areas of pneumonitis and
fibrosis
but at present they want to concentrate on the rituximab before looking at further medication for the
fibrosis
. I've got to the point that I just can't see an end to it. I'm so sorry for the long rant and I hope you're all as good as can be 😘

Progesterone. Lubion or Prontogest?
Hi everyone. First thank you for encouraging me to ask the right questions about add ons to my NHS clinic (but doing a private treatment). I have had 3 failed transfers and never even fallen pregnant let alone miscarried in 8yrs of trying! I was brave and asked the clinic about the add ons and thankfully

Deranged bloods, no fatty liver no fibrosis
A little further down my road of tests, in summary I have no symptoms but it all started with a cholesterol test of 8.9, gp said it could be liver related as it’s too high to be diet. Had liver bloods and ALT was high at 150. Repeat test and ALT was 350.Refer to liver specialist, just had ultrasound

Help interpreting FibroSure Test Results
Last year I had a FibroSure test done in November (2020) and my
Fibrosis
score was 0.11 (so no
fibrosis
) but my Steotosis score was 0.62 (moderate) and NASH was "probable/borderline" (AST/ALT were high at AST:34 and ALT:74).
